Let me tell you a story. This afternoon, I walked into Coach at the Tanger Outlets location in Park City, Utah, and, as it does everywhere I go, my Coach tote set off the sensors. The woman standing immediately inside the doors (literally 2 feet in front of the entrance) stopped me and had me go through my entire bag to find the sensor, completely ignoring my protestations that I have searched several times over the last 12 months since buying the purse. Unsurprisingly to me, we found nothing. She called over her manager who held my bag between the sensors again to confirm that it was my bag that set it off. The manager then called over a male associate to check my bag. Keep in mind that this is all within 2 minutes of ENTERING the store and I’ve gone no further than 6 feet inside the doors (and only that far in order to set my bag on a table to look through it easier). I haven’t so much as TOUCHED a single piece of merchandise and yet THREE employees feel it necessary and appropriate to stick their hands inside my bag and rifle around inside it for a device that I’ve already checked for while standing in front of them. This has, of course, become a spectacle to the other customers as I’m trying to convince the associates that these efforts are pointless. The final insult was when the male associate stuck his hands inside my bag and started unzipping the pockets without my permission and began kneading and grabbing my personal items in an effort to find the tag. I don’t know where it is, and frankly, I couldn’t care less at this point. I walked into more than a dozen stores before walking into Coach and NOT A SINGLE ONE of them had a problem with the fact that I set off the sensor when I walked in. NOT. ONE. I am disgusted, I am humiliated, and I am beyond LIVID that I was treated with such suspicion and disrespect. I would give them negative stars if it...
Read moreCame up to Park City for the weekend and wanted to do a little shopping. Being a fan of Coach I wanted to see what they had. A wonderful selection and what seemed to be great pricing. Myself as well as my friends purchased several items and when they rang up wrong the sales associate who rang us up made it seem as if we were lying. However the associate walking around helping with questions told us the signs we correct and the prices sometimes change daily. After dreaming of another bag that I had not purchased I decided to go back and get it. To my surprise it was now and additional 10% off. Lucky me! As I was being checked out the price was again not accurate and was again made to feel as if I was lying. The price marked was honored, but they sign was taken down. I think you need to pay more attention to your signage. Quite disappointed two days in a row with this location. I suppose I will have to go to another location next time and not shop...
Read morePowder Pink City Tote!! I had been searching for the light pink monogram city tote since it came out in outlet stores last week. I was told by different associates via chat that it would restock at different times, and I was not very confident I would get my hands on it, since it had sold out so quickly. I knew this would be my perfect go-to basic purse! Thankfully, by happenstance, Sydney was on reddit and was on the Coach sub assisting people! Turns out there was one City Tote left (all the way in Utah!) and she gave me her contact info. The next morning (today) she was prompt in sending me an order link, and it was shipped out to me the same day. She was kind, efficient, and very personable! Park City is very lucky to have someone like her looking out for customers in unique ways! Thank you Sydney!! (she was also able to get me a pink umbrella and the medium wallet both in powder pink after the initial sale. She is good at her job! and I...
