We were so excited to see another ramen place open up in Park City. We finally got to try it on Saturday night. We placed a delivery order on their website, which, it looks like DoorDash picked up to deliver. Great delivery service by DoorDash. The restaurant itself, not so great. When we received the order, it was missing Chicken Karage. I call the restaurant. As soon as I say, “there’s an item missing.”, she says, “Oh, the karage chicken, right? Sorry, we are out of that tonight. You should receive a refund in next 2-3 days.”. As I was about to respond that if I would’ve known that it was not available, we would have ordered something else, I mean, you order food because you are hungry… Before I could finish speaking, she hung up. So, she knew that it was missing from our order but she didn’t call us to inform us and ask if we would like anything else instead. Also, considering that the delivery tip is a % of the order, instead of actually making the order adjustment she’s giving us a refund few days later, so my tip is based on the original higher sales value… Wow. While not a big deal in a grand scheme of things, very inappropriate and irresponsible on the part of the restaurant. Then we open the ramen dishes. My husband and I each added fish cake for $1 per dish. I see 1 piece of thinly sliced white & pink flower shaped fish cake floating on the top. Neither of had more than that 1 piece in each of our dishes; that was $1 per dish add-on fee. Then I notice that there’s like 2-3 slices of cut bamboo shoot, which, I also paid a $1 add-on for. While the noodles were well cooked and the packaging to keep the noodles separated from the broth was impressive, we will never be ordering from her again. Very...
Read moreAfter a great day of skiing, and a hankering for good ramen, this was a big disappointment. We pulled up the menu online and called to place an order for pick up. We were informed that while the gyoza normally came with 5 pieces, they were only giving 4 pieces due to the size of the gyoza. We explained that the menu actually said there were 6 pieces. We asked them to honor what the menu said and they said they could not. (We ordered the gyoza and they were greasy and sub-par).
But that was just the beginning. We placed our order and thought the total ($87 for one order of Gyoza & 3 ramen bowls) seemed high. We looked at the receipt & got a BIG surprise. Not only were we charged more for everything than was stated on the menu, there was an additional "service charge" included of $16, bringing the total charged to our credit card $103. I asked the cashier about it when I picked up our food and she said, "Oh, that automatically gets applied." I said, "Yes, but if that's the case, then you should have told me the full total on the phone and not snuck in the additional 'service charge' once we were off the phone." She kept repeating "it's just automatic." They did end up refunding the service charge, but not the discrepancy between the menu price and what we were charged.
And then the food. It was terrible. The eggs were brownish/gray and so gross looking that none of us ate ours (we were charged $2 each for the eggs). I've ordered plenty of ramen and never had eggs look like that.
The pork was extremely fatty and there was a very small amount of it.
The noodles reminded me of Top Ramen.
There were virtually no vegetables - just broth.
All in all, it was a terrible experience. Would...
Read moreI like meat. I gotta have it. The protein it contains sustains me. To me, that sustenance is the difference between a meal and a snack. I recently visited this establishment to enjoy a meal with my lady. We ordered the gyoza. Not available. We ordered the pork buns. All out. We ordered two different ramen bowls. Each was supposed to contain meat, according to the menu. Neither contained meat when they were served. The waiter never bothered to mention that they were out of meat nor offer anything in its place nor offer a discount. I think he just hoped we wouldn’t notice. We noticed. I asked “Where’s the meat?” to which he replied “We’re all out, but I can give you 10% off.” I said “10%?! We’re missing 30% of our meal here.” He said, “Sorry, the tablet will only let me take 10% off.” So I had to pay $40 for two bowls of noodles which—to be honest—were rather lackluster in size and flavor and unevenly cooked to boot. Had we been told when we arrived that they were out of meat, we probably would have just gone to the Arby’s across the street and been more satisfied. They have the meats. I advise that you take your...
