Awesome experience rafting class 4 down the Roaring Fork with Lange, Curtis, Fiona and Mike. All were great guides and jokes were high level. The whole trip was seamless and very well done. Previous rafting trips with other companies just did not compare in any way to this trip with EME. Its clear EME puts in more thought, planning, attention to detail and safety than any other company out there. They went through a detailed safety orientation, made sure all of us felt confident and knew what to do in any event, and taught us how to paddle as a team so we could help maneuver the boat. They outfitted us in great gear and took care of everything.

The whole experience was perfect and they made sure we all had a great time throughout. The complimentary snacks and bevs at the end were a great perk. They had a photographer/driver who took photos of us that were all free to download.

If you’re looking for a hands on experience where you have a role in cruising down the rapids - with a side of entertainment, highly recommend EME, wouldn’t raft with anyone else....

We had the best time going RAFTING through Elk Mountain Expeditions!!! My husband(28) and parents (50’s) went on Upper Roaring Fork on Class 3 rapids, on high water. It was EPIC! Our guide Andy was amazing. He knew the river like the back of his hand. He was knowledgeable, professional, energetic, friendly, adventurous, and gave good vibes. I would 100/10 recommend going through this tour company. They provided us with wetsuits that fit all of our sizes. They had a convenient pick up location, drove us to the drop off, and picked us up at the end. They also provided us with snacks and drinks at the end of the trip.
