This place is not use to diversity in their cliental. Took my 99yr old client shopping & every time I had an item in my hand a employee would come & say "I'll take these to the front counter for you" yes with a smile but, never asked if that was what I wanted. My client was purchasing an outfit so we needed the garment. Secondly I felt all eyes on me, every time I looked around I met eyes with an employee. They would talk to her & ignored me. Once client & I were ready to check out once again I'm ignored. I help my client as usual with her payment selection as I'm stared at, cashier tried to hand my client the bag when I just clearly reached out saying "I'll take that" Cashier still ignoring me trying to give bag to my client whom is taking a bit of time putting her wallet back into her purse. I then just take the bag and said "ma'am it's been very clear since we walked into the store that we're together, whom I am to her is non of your concern BUT, you see she has a cane & she's holding on to MY ARM for support why would you keep trying to pass her this heavy bag when it's obvious I'm HELPING HER!! Read moreSenior associate was short and not forward with offering potential solutions to returning an item without a physical receipt I had purchased in the store last month (tags attached). When I asked if the store kept records of items purchased in the store, she had told me plainly “no.” In my search for an emailed receipt, I decided to look into her claim that they required a receipt to return an item. Lands End policy is to provide in store merchandise for returns without proof of purchase! She had stepped away and I figured I might find more help in another employee. The two that helped try to find my receipt (I could narrow down the time of purchase to a day) were enthusiastic but required help from... the employee that had been less than willing to help a few minutes prior. With her fellow employees now over her shoulder, she was able to search for and find my receipt by searching the day and credit card used to purchase the item. Miracles DO happen! I got my refund, new employees got trained, and a veteran employee ate crow.

At age 75 now, I still find the brand offers beautiful fabrics and on spot design trends at incredible prices.
