I am typically not confrontational about a terrible restaurant experience, but this pushed me WAY beyond the edge of reason. Here's how last night went: 1. Upon receiving notice that our table was ready, we still had to wait 10 extra minutes to be seated, watching people who had come in after us get tables. This was after having to remind the hostess multiple times we were still waiting. 2. Music was so absurdly loud that I was unable to have any reasonable level of conversation with my partner, even seated right next to the open patio. 3. Upon receiving our appetizer, we were not given any silverware to eat it with. There was none on the table to begin with, and took a couple people to find us some. 4. Waitstaff could not hear what we were ordering (again, due to the music) and messed up my partner's food, to the point where they brought RICE instead of FRIES with a BURGER (???) and did not make a simple requested modification (no sauce). It took 4 people to figure out that the burger needed to be redone, after going back and forth trying to give it to us anyways multiple times. 5. My own burger and fries were cold upon delivery - didn't even touch it and took it home to reheat. 6. Upon reheating it today, THEY LEFT THE CHEESE WRAPPER IN THE BURGER. Picture attached. This entire experience took almost TWO HOURS - one drink each, one appetizer between us, and two entrees. I would highly discourage anyone from eating here until they get it together. I understand that this location just opened, but Tavern in the Square is a well-established chain, and I've never had anything close to this experience at their other locations. Maybe in a couple months this will be a reasonable place to eat - steer clear for now.

We tried again to check the place out again. Pretty much a double-fail on service quality. To point: first time we walked in on Halloween. Place was dead. Virtually all staff was let go. The bar tender who served us took 20 mins to touch point with us after we sat down. Told us he didn't like our costumes and left us for another 20 mins waiting for service. The place was dead. Tonight we walked in and the place was packed. Sat at the bar figuring we'd try again. Our bar keep gave us our menus without a word. Got back to us 15 mins later for our drinks order. We placed our food as well. She delivered our drinks without a word. Our food was delivered by someone else. She never made a point of checking with us as to whether our food was good or not. Pretty much was disinterested entirely. On the way out, caught the ear of the manager, Justin I think. Said this was the second time we were trying the place and the service by two different bar keeps made zero impression to come back. He thanked for the feedback. Overall, food was good but nothing outstanding. Service is entirely mediocre and off-putting. We've tried twice. Not inclined to go back. Entirely your call if you do. The pity is we are craving something better in the area and this could have been a winner

This is our third time since they opened. We went in on their first day, it was so crowded, but food and service was awesome. We went back with my sister, it was crowded and wait was about 45 minutes, but that was OK, just that service was not that good. They take forever to come to your table and we ordered appetizers which arrived 10 minutes after out entrées. Today we went in again for lunch, and the place was 25% full which means service should be better, but no. The lady was kind, the only issue is they take forever to go and take order and to see if you need anything else or to bring you the check, while I could see her chatting with a group of coworkers in the bar. I’ve seen a lot of people complaining about the loud music, I guess it has its vive, which I honestly like, but if you don’t like loud places, I do not recommend. Food has always been good. We love the vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Drinks are always amazing. Good place to go if you’re not in a rush, and if you want to have some drinks with friends or watch a game.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Tavern in the Square Framingham, and it was largely thanks to the outstanding service provided by Diemitri! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of.

The atmosphere at Tavern in the Square is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place for a relaxing meal. I was impressed by the wide range of options on the menu, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. Whether you're in the mood for classic comfort food or something a bit more adventurous, this place has you covered.

Diemitri's professionalism and attentiveness truly stood out. He went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was top-notch. He provided excellent recommendations, ensured our drinks were never empty, and checked in on us at just the right times.

The food was absolutely delicious! The flavors were on point, and the presentation was impeccable. It was clear that the kitchen takes great pride in their craft, and it definitely showed in every bite.

Tavern in the Square Framingham is not just a place to eat; it's a place to create wonderful memories. I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu. Whether you're looking for a casual dinner or a special occasion, I highly recommend this establishment, and be sure to ask for Diemitri—he'll make your visit even more memorable!

Thank you, Tavern in the Square, for a fantastic dining experience. Keep up...
