Mothers day Morning, I call to reserve a table for 6 and a baby, the gentleman on the phone was polite, took my phone number and number of people. My party of 6 arrives and the waiter tells me they do not take reservations and was very rude right away. He proceeds to take us to a table where the chairs are so close together, we ask to move another table over so that we are not rubbing elbows while trying to eat, he was once again very rude and acted like this was an issue. When we arrived, they were not at all busy. Waiter takes our drink order, 4 of us order water with lemon, none of us received lemon and had to ask twice before receiving it, another person from our party ordered a margarita which took them 25 mins to bring to her, it would have been longer if I wouldn't have gotten up to hunt someone down in order to get that margarita. Our food started coming to the table. 2 orders of fajitas in which neither had that sizzle, not even steam coming off of them.. They were cold. Order of chicken tenders come out for someone else in our party and the food was cold. Chicken nuggets and fries come out for my 2 year old and his food was way overcooked... Burnt chicken nuggets... My child started choking twice because of this. The waiters acted like they didn't know which tables belonged to them and they were acting confused. We were given 1 bowl of chips and 2 bowls of salsa between the 6 1/2 of us.. Never once did our waiter ask us if we needed more chips or salsa as we waited 40 mins for our cold... Overcooked food. Never once did our waiter ask us if we needed refills. Once we received our food and asked for a manager, the "manager" who didn't act like a manager at all as far as customer service goes, not even sure he was a manager.. Probably just our waiters work buddy... He ask if we wanted our food replaced, whats the point of that if we have to wait another 40 mins for our food again? He said he would take a little bit off of our tickets (3 small tickets) which ended up taking $2 off of each ticket. Then each of us were charged a "gratuity charge/tip." Gratuity for what? Terrible service? The entire time, our waiter purposely avoided us. I have NEVER complained anywhere that I have went to eat in my entire life. Im usually a very understanding person who was once a waitress herself. But there was absolutely no excuse for the terrible service and cold burnt food. I always tip very good, sometimes tip more than my entire ticket cost and this is the first time in my life that I didn't tip at all because the service and management was that terrible. We had a customer harassing us in the parking lot because he loves that place so much, well I wish we would have received the service hes been getting ... Couldn't even use the bathrooms because they were so nasty and unclean. We will never be back and they really need some help from people that know what they are doing. If they were busy during our time there we would have been more understanding, but there were only 2 tables there besides us when we arrived and they weren't busy until we left. I once delivered with door dash and had complaints of missing food all of the time, I should have taken that as a warning. Will never be back. Don Pedro has amazing service and food. Maybe they could help with training. Oh and this may or may not just be a coincidence but my fiance was up all night sick to her stomach after eating here. Hopefully others will receive better food...

entire waitstaff, too busy watching television to pay attention to the couple of customers that were there. Had to get my own hot sauce and waited almost 45 minutes for drink refills and check before i finally got up and chased down our server who was swamped with 4 tables. I’m a server and he should not have been in the weeds with so few customers- especially since he wasn’t bringing refills on drinks or chips. Not kidding when i say every one of them was just standing staring at the tv like the restaurant was closed. The “chimichanga” looked like it had been lightly pan fried or something? it was NOT a chimichanga- it was a burrito covered in oil. I ordered all vegetable and they gave me like one slice of each vegetable. It was so so bad. Whoever owns this place is a penny pincher to the extreme. Refills on chips and salsa cost $2.25 and soda refills you only get one lmaoooooo absolutely ridiculous! Only went here bc Casa Fiesta was closed on a sunday. Saw a friend come in as we were leaving. Same thing. They wanted casa fiesta and it was closed. I then informed them that chip/salsa refills weren’t free (you get a small bowl to start) and sodas were only one refill. They were shocked and we had a good laugh. I will NEVER go back. Server had to be flagged down for everything including a forgotten item we didn’t get until close to the end of the meal. Save your money. Go ANYWHERE else or eat at home. Starving would be better than this awful food/service and paying for chips and salsa when they are free literally...

TL:DR - Food is good enough. Service is sloppy, and they charge for "additional" toppings, when there are clearly not enough. Food was 6/10, came out fast and hot. Chips and Salsa were 4/10, decent but I've definitely had better at a multitude of Mexican restaurants. My biggest complaint was the service, I talked with the waitress, and explained it was my first time there and even took her advice on getting the combination fajita that included all the various meats, (shrimp, steak, chicken, chorizo). However, like many places it came with 3 tortillas (to start, guess I was wrong there) and a very small amount of "salad". When I needed more tortillas and salad, I asked if I could get some and it was brought to me but I was never told there was an additional charge. When I order food that cost $15.00, I generally expect it to come with enough of the side items to eat with it. After going thorough 3 tortillas, I still had over half my meal left, and I just wanted to get full. The charge wasn't small, it was 2:50 for "salad" and .75 for tortillas. Otherwise, service after ordering was essentially non-existent, and I sat there for about 10 minutes after being brought my bill before I had to go to the front and pay, I still don't know if that is customary at this restaurant or not, I was never told. It appeared that the waitress would come and...

This has become my favorite Mexican spot in Frankfort! The service, the food, the atmosphere and the drinks are all superb. I eat there a few times a month on my lunch break. My fiancé and I go there on the weekends sometimes as well. My favorite is the camarones a la crema.. shrimp with cream cheese and chipotle sauce. YUMMY!! I also like their chicken chimichangas, as well as the taco salad. The service is always excellent, regardless of if I am doing a carryout order or if we eat in. The salsa is just right. Some places put too much cilantro for my taste, but they are on point here. They also have happy hour every day at 4.. Two-for-one margaritas and beer specials.. they also have a daily food special. It is something different each day of the week. There are TVs where folks can watch sports and have a drink at the bar. I 100% recommend this place and I will continue to be a patron. Kudos to you guys; you do a great job!!!

Ok I gave them another chance and now the platter has less than before I guess they don't like honest reviews and the restaurant is nasty , floors tables and just the outside trash everywhere, I'm done. This is why I drive all the way to Lawrenceburg, Casa Bonita actually gives you nice servings for their price. This place just covers the bottom of the pan and charge too much. You can see how it's barely full from the sides of the pan. Food is good, portions are terrible.

Chips were warm - star for that... crispy taco shell was delish light and crisp - star for that... Guac was ok, rice ok, beans ok, service was ok.... The best part of the meal was the chips and salsa... the rest of the food just tasted under seasoned... I would try all the other Mex restaurants in the area before I came back to this one. No wow factor here....
