Giant Food — Local services in Fredericksburg

The store is clean and the produce is good, which is the only reason i gave it a star, at all...I had, hands down, the WORST shopping experience of my life at this store! ... This was the first time I've ever shopped at this particular Giant, mind you, and halfway through my shopping, an older blonde lady (whom I assume is the manager) began blatantly walking up and down the isles and following me, all the while, giving me the nastiest looks. I finally understood after about the 3rd isle of this, that she must believe me to be some sort of thief, which I certainly am NOT. I became even MORE aware of this, and extremely offended, when I reached the self-check out station and the clerk proceeded to make snide, presumptuous remarks about how much "stuff" I had, as if to imply I couldn't possibly have the money for it all, and then INSISTED she "help" ring me up, which I let her do- and I would have had no problem with this at all, if she was actually trying to be HELPFUL. She also completely ignored every other customer checking out the entire time!...if anyone WAS trying to steal, they certainly would've been able to do so without difficulty!! I don't know if they just had a problem with how I "looked" or what, but it was completely uncalled for and BEYOND rude...they're actually lucky I was in a decent mood and bit my tongue! Therefore, I will NEVER go to this Giant again!...very disappointing from a store that's main purpose is serving...

Edit: Will never return. Placed an order for evening pickup, half was out of stock. I then had to run around to other stores to find the items that should have been in the order which is already inconvenient, which of course were some of the items I needed that night. I was unable to pickup before the pickup section closed (unaware this was a thing), I woke up this morning ready to grab my order and they marked the order as picked up and customer care is closed until Monday. I have NEVER ordered groceries and been given one exact hour to pickup. And if the pickup was inflexible, the order should have been cancelled! I will be disputing with my bank and never returning. And this never would have occured if their inventory was anywhere close to accurate!

Very clean and organized.

The online NEVER matches the actual stock, which is why I only gave 3 stars. I mainly use pickup and every order I have a couple items out of stock that did not state low stock.

Ive been using Western Union here for money orders for about a year now using tap to pay with no issues. Now all of a sudden its a problem? The girl who was going to let me try it was very nice but the lady who said "no you cant even try tap to pay because it wont accept it, western union doesn't accept apple pay". One I wasnt using Apple Pay and two it says right on Western Unions website the accept google pay and three again ive been doing it this way for a year, i know it works. Not to mention my actual debit card is linked on my phone which is what I was using. Tap to pay with a pin is the exact same thing as having my card and again I've had no issues for a year until today and also that lady was quite rude about it.
