I walked in to order to go, there were two people behind the counter. There were only two other customers in the restaurant and they seemed to be waiting as well, not dining in. I stood at the sign that asked for you to order there and then... waited. Neither person acknowledged me or told ne there would be a few minute wait. The menu looked inviting and I had been really looking forward to the falafel wrap. I waited for a few minutes, it felt like 5ish, but I could be mistaken. The man behind the counter was a but frazzled and two young men came in behind me - they asked if their food was ready. The man snapped that he told them it would take a while over the phone and they'd still have to wait. He still said nothing to me. Based on his response to the young men, I decided he might not be in the best space, so I turned and left. I don't know if this is a regular occurrence and I'd love to know if there's any optimal time to try this place. I was in there at 3ish pm on a Thursday. I'm fine waiting - I'd just never felt like a restaurant didn't want me there. Even...

Very bad. Restaurant looks great, man taking my order was very kind and respectful. Someone in my group said they saw a cockroach in the bathroom. Food other people got smelled good enough. I ordered my food at 5:37 PM, was not spoken to again until 6:40 or so when the aforementioned person in my group went to ask why it was taking so long. Supposedly they were out of rice. People coming in and ordering 30-40 minutes after we did got their food while we sat and waited. After the group member went and got them to make our food, I finally received mine to-go (originally planned on eating there of course), but nothing was what I ordered. I imagine this is largely because the receipt was not descriptive at all (no mention of sides I ordered or the nature of my meal, just "gyro platter (beef)." At this point it was around 6:55, so we just decided to leave. Wish I could say I had a positive experience as, again, the employees we encountered all seemed to be respectful, the general atmosphere (- the evil roach) was very enjoyable, and the food smelled good....

The place felt nice as far as vibe, but seemed dingy and run down, but sometimes they have the best food, it wasn’t dirty at all, but broken front of soda machine just stuck out. The lady at the counter was super friendly and eager to help! Beautiful smile too!!! Made me feel very comfortable. But the food wasn’t what I was excepting, I ment to order one thing and when she said it it sounded like the thing I wanted but turns out was not, however it was the first time having dolmas and they were very good!! The chicken was flavorful but overcooked or had been out a while, but taste wise was great. The naan was overcooked as well and hard around the edges so much so I couldn’t chew it. The hummus was great and the rice was good too. It was ok for being fast and around the corner and a healthier option for fast food. I would try them again, I this caught them on a slow day...

We enjoyed the naan especially, as well as a lamb gyro. The veggie traditional (tomato-based) curry was delicious, but a little oily, so we will be making extra rice at home to eat with the leftovers to soak up that deliciousness. You get a lot of food for what you pay. At least two meals for the curry or kabob dishes. You must go inside the store for pickup and touch the card-reader without a plastic wall (so lacking COVID19 safety is the main reason for 4 stars instead of 5). Pictured are the samosas which have a gorgeous, flaky crust instead of your typical deep-fried, oily versions. Samosas are spicy, so be warned! You’ll want that yummy green yogurt sauce to cut the spicy tingle.

Have previously really liked the food here, but just had an unbelieveable conversation with the guy working there. He was so incredibly rude and aggresive towards me, i"ll NEVER go back. The words out of his mouth to me were "You British people don't like to work and you're all racist" Shame on you Baba ganoush, treat more people like this, and you wont have any customers left, and it looks like you're already racking up a fair few one star reviews..... I'll find somewhere else to get my mediteranian fix and not get berated On a side note, this is how my meal presented, because of the way he packed it. Thanks for that

First time here. I’d rate the food a 9 out of 10 with the overall experience being a 7 out of 10. This restaurant is meant for the covert foodie, someone who prefers a low-key dining or take out experience. The location is quiet and unobtrusive, almost as if you’ve walked into your friend’s kitchen to grab a snack. Not birthday party friendly, too quiet. I tried the chicken shawarma plate with hummus and naan. Perfect texture, high quality and very fresh. Mystery sauces were good. Portion size is solid especially with sides and there are several options to choose from. Will be back for the hummus.
