I had the most amazing experience at my first Iftar at the Turkish American Society of MN. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by such a warm and gracious community. The kindness and hospitality were so genuine. It truly felt like everyone was happy to be together, celebrating and sharing good food.
The food was spectacular! We started with a comforting bowl of Lentil Soup that set the tone for an incredible feast. There was so much variety, and every dish had its own unique, delicious flavor. Read moreIt was a delightful experience! I went to a Turkish cooking event for the first time! The event was wonderful and fun!! I enjoyed the food. I am not Turkish myself, and it t was nice to be involved in making a Turkish meal. The first time, I did that. What I liked about the cooking class was that everyone helped make the food! The class engaged everyone in it! The cooking event, it was nice to participate in other people's culture! I would highly recommend coming on the 2nd Sunday of Each, month 2 to 430 pm to cook at the Turkish American Society.
In my own opinion, the world should engage or learn of other people's culture, and the world would become very welcoming...
