The absolute worst photo company! I only gave it one star because I couldn’t do no stars. My son’s school picture looks like a 2yr old took it and I say it because they only took one picture. Nor the photographer nor the person that sent me the picture thought for a minute that it was a horrible picture(maybe it’s just me but perhaps the child’s eyes should be opened for the school pictures-just sayin. The person that I spoke to, had the owner call me because I was not interested in having the picture to be taken again... When I said to the owner that that couldn’t have been a professional photographer that took the picture, she went all crazy because “she was so offended”...she didn’t like that I did not want new pictures but a refund. She went crazy and told me that “I needed to take a breath” and that “I am not to order from them again” as if I have any desire to-what a joke(great customer service)...she didn’t allow me to respond, I wish she would’ve, she is the one that needed to take a breath. She got all worked up because someone told her that a child takes better pictures. They are in need of a professional photographer and a course on how to provide good customer service. If a customer requests a refund, just give them their refund and call it a day. Read moreI work for a very similar company as a photographer/customer service and we get back to our customers asap, we make sure the child is smiling and eyes are fully open, and orders have a quick turn around (even retakes). Not schoolpix, we called multiple times trying to get information regarding how they handle their retakes and product. Not once did we get a call back. My husband kept calling throughout the week and finally someone answered. The photographers do not seem to be trained to get a child to smile or to check eyes. My son's retake has one eye half shut and a "smile". We have not had an issue with our son giving a real smile for other photographers in the past. As for retake product turn around it took them 2 months. The original photo was taken August 26, retakes were September 24. Today is November 28 and we have just received information about retakes...
Read moreI’m giving 4 stars for the prompt response. I have twins. Their package options are slim when you have more than one child. I truly wish that they had an option to customize packages. When checking out, the website states that you get a free download with a $40 purchase. I spent over $50 having to order separate packages for each child and sibling photo together. The catch? You have to spend $40 on one photo package - not total at checkout. Truly misleading and discouraging. I hope that they fix this, this is an inconvenience for families with more than one child. Every other place I’ve ordered pictures from I was able to customize my package to include other poses/child. I hope they take this review as good and try to implement options for...
