I never do this, but . . . . Your money is better off being spent elsewhere. You probably work hard for it and don't want to waste it. I transferred down here from a sister property in Saint Louis a month ago. When I showed up after packing and driving down 10 hours I showed up to a apartments that was: Not cleaned. At all. The toilet was stained and disgusting. The shower still had mold in it. Sink had toothpaste and spit caked on it. The mirror had paint wiped all over it. Nothing was wiped down or vacuumed. I will say the kitchen appliances were spotless, but they were also brand new. Dryer didn't work Dishwasher was broke. None of the windows would stay open (I'm not even kidding) No screen on my patio door (everyone else has one, that's how I found out I should have one) Mailbox key didn't work no opener for the front gate (they were out)
All of this was wrong on the day I moved in. I showed up late on Saturday to move in. I brought all of this to their attention on Sunday. No one apologized or seem surprised, they said they would look into it. Monday passed no one came in to fix anything. Tuesday came and I came home from work to find nothing had been done again. I went to talk to the Property Manager (I don't remember her name), asked if she was aware of my issues. She said no, so I listed them. She asked me to hold on a moment, left for ten minutes and came back with a maintenance guy who walked over to talk to me. She walked right past me without so much as acknowledging me or explaining to me what was happening. Again, no one has apologized or even said out loud that clearly a mistake had been made. I spoke to the Maintenance guy and the next day they were in to take care of what they could. I will say the maintenance staff has been awesome. Once they were made aware and I told him the issues he took care of what he could as soon as possible. Which is why I gave two stars. Solely for maintenance staff and Jennifer (at the front office) is nice. Having said that, it is a month later and my bedroom window still doesn't stay open and I still don't have a screen door for my patio. I went up to find out about an opener for the gate and was told I had to being in a check or a money order for 25 dollars in order to get one. I tried to politely point out the fact that I've had a ton of issues and please just give me one. I was told it's policy. Please understand, 25 dollars is 25 dollars. I don't care about the money. It's not a lot, and I have it. At this point it's principle. C'mon. Just be a person. Other issues: Parking is really limited and very bad. If you don't have an assigned spot you will end up parking on the other side of complex. People don't clean up after their dogs. I have one. She goes to the bathroom. I pick it up. I will say that over the last week it seems like someone is making an effort to clean up. I don't know if that's a random resident or the front office though. Last week, I saw a kid pick up a giant rock and throw it against two cars as hard as he could. I confronted him, told the office about it as well. But stuff like this is happening. Positives: The location of the complex is great. You have everything you will ever need in a two mile radius around you. The Maintenance staff, once they are made aware, are nice and polite and will fix things. Jennifer has been nice and seems to enjoy my dog when I bring her to the office. The actual apartments seem quiet. There isn't a ton of noise above or below you or the sides. Seems pretty well insulated. Not sure if that's common, but it's nice. I signed an eight month lease when I transferred down. I will be leaving the minute that is up. There are too many options in the area to be in a...
Read moreHere is the real scoop on living here .. Lived in here in 2000 they were owned by a different company they were brand new so they were more energy efficient .. Now they are 15 yrs old and they claim they are a green property the only thing green here is the weeds :) Okie you will be locked into coserv and they are high and this is partly due to their heating system which needs to be replaced it looks like the same unit when I lived here before.Which let me warn you about I am hot natured and I was cold the whole winter I crank the old gal up to 75 76 and dang my bedroom stayed 69 and 70 the rest of the apt hung out at 72 73 but the thermostat on the wall said 75 76 .. So in the large 2 expect at least 275 in the winter if its really cold ... Now for the water they say I am using more water here in this 2 bedroom than I was using in my 4 bedroom 1889 sq ft house with a front and back yard that I kept watered and soaker hose going ..Now what I think is going on it's not calibrated right as have talked to some neighbors and they say the same thing so in the large 2 your water will run you over a 100 in apt 1818 .. They were told and they did check to see if the numbers matched the numbers at the third party water billing company so they claim the 8400 gallons in 1100 sq ft apt with 2 people is spot on and so something is really wrong here .......So request has been submitted to them in writing calibrated this.
Now for the upgrades they do ... They put a plastic looking granite counter top over the old one .. The do not replace the cabinets which after 15 years are sticky and yucky..The do put a duable wood floor in not the best of quality but passable .. They do not address all the mold on the windows except to paint over it and there is always moisture on the windows so its a losing battle.. The cold air blows through the windows too so you will always feel cold in the apt .The windows were filthy on move in so I had to have someone come and clean them as they were so dirty you could not see out ..
They do the bare in updates but you can still its a aging 15 yr apt and what the updates do is make the rest of the old stuff stand out ..
They also charge high rent for what you really get which is an outdated old apt with cheap updates and high electric and big water bills and the only internet service is Grande and they are spotty so if you work from home expect to get fired .. Its that bad and its expensive too took the 129.00 package and with tax and tax and more tax the bill is now 155.00
Also parking is a awful here I have a detached garage so that helps .. The grounds are always wet and when it rains they have a lake where the ducks come .. Now for the dog park that is joke a fence was put up that looks awful and the door comes off and get this they built it right where all the rain makes for the lake and the dog park becomes a muddy mess .
Just had to add the move out checklist ............................They want you to clean the windows this is rich as the windows were so filthy when I moved in I had to hire a window cleaner company and he said it and I quote him" these windows look like they had never been cleaned " Good Luck if you decide to...

I’ll give a few shoutouts in a moment, but let me first say this: if you’re looking for an apartment complex with a team that is responsive, fair, welcoming, and communicative — a team that gives advance notice, goes the extra mile, and provides sincere, thoughtful service to everyone in the community — then you’ve found the right place.
The layouts here are spacious, ideal for both singles and families, and truly feel like home. The appliances work well and are clean, and the entire space gives off a welcoming, comfortable vibe. The community of tenants is lively and engaged — people walk the grounds, stay active, and contribute to a warm atmosphere. That friendly presence naturally creates a sense of safety, without ever feeling intrusive or nosy.
Due to a life event, my partner and I needed to relocate to better accommodate our work commutes, so sadly, I had to leave this wonderful place I called home. Most reviews are written either at the beginning of a stay, after a short time, or following a particularly great (or poor) experience. This one comes after over a year of living here — and I can say with complete confidence that this has been one of the best living experiences I’ve ever had next to staying with my own family.
From the very first introduction to my final day on the lease, this place — the staff, the space, and the residents — have represented what life should be about: a great space, shared with great people, creating lasting memories, all supported by a team that balances professionalism, personality, and genuine care for the community like no other.
Now, for the well-deserved name dropping: Jenn, Jessica, Laura, and every member of the grounds and maintenance crew — you’ve all been such a big part of why so many people proudly call this place home. My deepest thanks and warmest gratitude go out to each of you.
I’m proud to say that I was part of the Vineyards family. And wherever I go next, I’ll be looking for a place that matches the level of service and care you’ve shown me. I’d say you’re the standard — but after searching from Collin County to Dallas County, I know now that what you offer is truly exceptional.
If you’re considering moving here or even just touring the place, trust yourself — and know that, in my humble opinion, you’re on the right track. You simply can’t go wrong with a team and a community...
