Mango Leaf Indo Mexican Food — Restaurant in Frisco

O.M.G.❤😋 I ordered takeout this afternoon from this awesome restaurant, Mango Leaf. I placed a phone order from my vehicle and I thought I would just wait in the car since I had our dog with me. The menu had a lot of tasty choices. I ordered the Chicken Masala Bowl. The person taking the ordered encouraged me to come inside to get a better look at the side choices. When I entered the restaurant, and looked at the buffet of choices, I thought...Wow, so many fresh, tasty toppings to choose. In the Chicken Masala Bowl, I had Briyani Rice,(very flavorful), Brown beans, Chicken Masala, Tomato, onions, lettuce, cucumbers and a delicious mint sauce with garlic sauce on the side. The server suggested them both together to give more flavor and he also suggested putting Butter Chicken ontop but I declined to mix. I'm gonna try Butter Chicken next time. Here are a few photos. Seriously, and I know Int'l foods and this place is worth your $$ and time. Altogether including a bottle of tea, under $15, and there's enough food for two people. I went to Mango Leaf first time on my wife's birthday for a dinner. Being there first time I got help to pick the food items and I was explained in detail what each preparation would be. I saw there was an arrangement for Karaoke and a teenage girl was singing melodious songs in Hindi, English and Telgu. I got a chance to talk to her and told her its my wife's birthday and I wanted to sing. To our surprise she sung the Happy Birthday song and we were treated with complementary deserts. The ambience is so perfect I ended up singing a duet with my wife and our kids enjoyed. Now coming back to food we ordered Spicy Paneer Bowl, Paneer Quesadilla and Salad. All of it very perfect and a good fusion food choice. Kamal is an awesome host and you get the feeling of 'Atithi dev bhavo" with Mango Leaf. A fresh new concept with authentic taste, which serves the taste buds well!! The bowl concept works well with the array of well planned menu. Reasonably priced with good quantity. The place is hygienically maintained. Lot of drink options to go with the food. Sufficient spread out seating. The staff were very courteous and paid attention to our ask/s, which is very rare to find in an India restaurant. Thank you for that. Some pointers for change - instead of giving the buzzer to wait for our turn after payment, might as well follow the Chipotle system of continuing in the line and taking the food alongside, since everything (except for kababs) is already prepared. Request to use recyclable/compostable tableware. There is also a bin for recyclable trash, but we could hardly find any in what we used, so everything went to trash.
