The coffee shop has a really nice and cozy vibe with a simple menu that also includes sandwiches and muffins. It's a great place to study or get some work done 👩🏻💻 Their matcha is good, but it's a bit sweet for my liking. I also tried their Americano, which was really nice. You can taste the freshness of the coffee beans, and the aroma is lovely
I'd totally give them 5 ⭐️ if they could step up their customer service. The staff is friendly, but there's this strange thing I noticed. It seems like the cashier, who might be the manager or owner, only gives stamp cards to Korean customers. It's a bit funny and ridiculous, really. At first, I thought he just forgot, but it happened again when I made another order. The folks in front of me, who were Korean, got their stamp cards, but when it was my turn, no card for me. I ended up spending almost $40 at CoffeeU all by myself. Overall, the staff is nice, but this particular issue just strikes me as a bit odd. I truly believe they should treat all customers the same way, not just the Korean ones.
I love their drinks and the chill vibe. I'll definitely go back, but I hope what I noticed was just a random thing. If not, they should fix it...
Read moreNestled in the heart of Frisco downtown, Coffee U is a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle. As soon as you step inside, the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee envelops you, setting the tone for a wonderful experience.
The ambiance is warm and inviting, with soft lighting and comfortable seating, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment alone.
The menu boasts a wide variety of options, from classic espressos to trendy flavored lattes. I especially enjoyed the drink, the "Tiramisu Latte”which was perfectly balanced and decadently rich.
In addition to their impressive coffee selection, and teas Coffee U also offers a range of delicious pastries and light bites. The almond croissants are a personal favorite, buttery and flaky with just the right amount of sweetness.
Overall, Coffee U is a must-visit for any coffee lover. Whether you're looking for a quick caffeine fix or a relaxing place to unwind, this charming cafe has it all. Highly...
Read moreOrder: Cappuccino, Strawberry Smoothie, Egg Salad Sandwich.
Thoughts: the cappuccino was a let down with the milk steamed improperly and over extracted espresso. The smoothie is great and tastes like either a smoothie mix or actual fresh strawberries. The sandwich is good but it is miss labeled as their crab salad sandwich and has no date so 🤷🏼♂️.
Service: hard to complain here but my immediate thoughts were that out of three people behind bar, nobody greated us when we walked in. No pleasantries were exchanged at the register and I was not asked if I wanted my order for here or to go.
Atmosphere: bright, clean, cool aesthetic. No complaints.
Over all: I’d visit again if asked to go but with other options in the area it’s not my first choice. I also wonder why they use Stumptown beans when there is a fantastic and emerging roasting scene in the metroplex. Stump town is fine but...
