A place get tea. Whether it's green tea 🍵, Thai tea🧋, boba tea, etc. My favorites are currently the mango green tea with mango 🥭 jellies (and before it used to be Thai, and Taro-read below for more info). They have a variety of toppings to put in your drinks. (They used to, but due to worldwide issues with shipping products they have shortened the list, understandably)
As for the poke bowls, the first time trying it-reminded me of sushi 🍣 but just in a bowl. You pick your rice then your desired toppings. It's also good but not something I would get every day. I was surprised how much I liked it.
The drinks are around $5 a pop so it's similar to the price of a Starbucks drink. But I like these better.
After a year I've noticed this place has changed a little. The milk teas I get don't resemble much of a tea and rather just milk with a little flavor. My husband loves to surprise me with bubble/boba tea but lately I have to tell him no because it's just not that good anymore. I can't recommend milk tea any longer. I've tried the Thai and taro multiple times throughout the year and it just tastes...off, sometimes sour.
Which really bums me out because I loved this place. Their fruit teas are still good, but they have more of a syrup taste now. Perhaps they have fallen on hard times like most of us. So I am not mad just sad. I DO however still recommend the poke bowl.
If you're going to go there for anything, get the poke bowl, it is very good. Expensive, but good, and it's like two meals for me.
In my opinion I think they should ditch the ice cream to save money since there is two ice cream places right next to them I highly prefer. Heck I now prefer them over their milk tea which really needs some attention.
If you're going to get a milk tea the best one of the bunch currently is the bubble brulee tea. It's sweet but good when...
Read moreThis location just opened and was pleasantly surprised there is a new dining option in the area, specifically, there are not many restaurants in the area offering poke bowls that I have seen recently.
The restaurant is clean and we'll kept. The ingredients are fresh and taste great. The 'bubble' tea was great, but there are a few things the restaurant falls short on.
First the lack of options for children is a problem. Full sized poke bowl for your 2 year old or she shares yours, or does not eat. This is not a place that has any accommodation for children, being in a shopping area that does accommodate children, I can see this as being a long term issue, and it can make placing your order akward.
Next is akward ordering.. There is no simple option for your poke bowl like pokeworks and other restaurants. You can't order a bowl like 'spicy bowl', 'Hawaiian special', etc. You MUST assemble your bowl and pick each item. I like to ask the employee what they recommend, and in this case the response was "I don't know" meaning the staff may know nothing of the food they are serving, also did not know the name of some of the ingredients.
Being a new restaurant I gave it 4 stars because the food was delicious, but as a business they have room for much needed improvement. In a few weeks I'll try again and if there is no improvement will likely lower to two...

Drinks: My new favorite is the Bubble Brulee Milk Tea. I'm also a fan of green tea so I recommend Bubble Honey Green Tea (this used to be my go-to until I discovered the Brulee one). I tried the Bubble Taro Green Tea and while it wasn't as good as the other green tea one I did like it. It was my first time trying anything with taro in it and so it was interesting (I also loved the lavender color)
As for food recommendations I always get a Create Your Own Rice Bowl as it's easier to decide what toppings I want. My go-to is spicy salmon. I've also tried the Create Your Own Burrito Bowl with chicken and while it was good (It's pretty mcuh a giant sushi burrito !) I feel like you get way more food in the rice bowl. No matter how many ingrediants I add into my bowls they never forget one which is pretty impressive since my list tends to be pretty long. I added to screen shots of my last two orders both as proof I really order here a lot but also so you can see just how much I...
