There's a possibility I have a bit of a bias here... But this Farmers Market is pretty great. They have a published list of vendors on the city's website and the city has a booth on site if you have any questions. I've asked and they've answered before. This one has several produce vendors with a variety of both fruits and vegetables and eggs, there's a vendor with nuts and a baker and a whole ton of little craft stalls there's a guy who sells tea ( I apologize for avoiding eye contact if you see this, I haven't tried the oolong tea yet and I feel shame). There are confections and other prepared foods including the tasty dumping tent that I also enjoyed in the Old Town Tustin Wednesday Market (apparently they also hit up Upland and Fontana in their circuit). They have vegetarian bao and mandu and the cut little custard piggy buns (the only kind of piggy I eat) but also a variety of meat Debbie the filled if that's your thing. Also do get the chili sauce. Last time I had a little bit left over and I actually put it with oil and sugar on popcorn that I popped at home and I forgot to tell them that they really need to collaborate with the kettle corn vendor. I also really like the Bread Love stall. They have a $9 loaf of Rosemary Garlic Bread I'm addicted too. It's got these whole cloves of roasted garlic in it and I like to toast it in butter and have it with eggs or avocado toast in the morning and it's a hack for a super flavorful breakfast with a very low effort for the rest of the week. Some of the produce vendors post prices but I've found the pricing to be pretty reasonable. Today I came away with a bunch of mint, almost a ladybug as a bonus, and a head of lettuce for just $3. Three baskets of strawberries were $12 or one basket for $5. I got there at golden hour so It's possible that there was more produce out there before I arrived. I am forever fashionably late. There's also live music there are some theme days listed on the city's website, there's usually a booth with some sort of kid activity in the there's usually a booth with some sort of kid activity and a playground attached as well as a fountain/ water feature and I saw some damp children toweling off as the sun was setting. The street parking gets a little tight but there are a couple of parking structures that are an option here and I parked a block and a half away mostly because I felt like spending more time walking than parking as there was a nice break in the hot weather...
Read moreI've been coming to this for about a decade now. The Thursday night Farmers Market is a blast. Great bands that changes every week. Great food vendors, and wonderful people that attend regularly. I've even made some great friends just by being a regular here.
Oh and I cannot forget the Beer Garden. It's always happening and they have $4 beers and glasses of wine. Usually have 2 beer selections, a dark & light. And a white & red wine selection. All the proceeds go to the Fullerton museum. Where the actual beer garden is located. Right outside of the building in the patio area.
If you have kids, there's plenty of things for them as well. Including a playground next to the market, and I believe a small train that goes around...
Read moreMy brother and sister, along with a few of their friends, have been going to the outdoor music concerts on Thursday nights, for a couple of years. I just started going a month ago and I'm hooked! It's very laid back and everyone seems to be having a good time. The bands are varied, some playing their original tunes and others playing long time favorites, and so far I've enjoyed them all. There are food, clothing, and other miscellaneous stalls. As the weather warms up, it will get more crowded so I suggest you bring your own chairs. I live at the beach but it's...
