I was at this restaurant tonight and very disappointed in the service. I would say this is the worst service and experience I’ve had in a Mexican restaurant. Food was above average for having to pay only $15 for a AYCE buffet style. Everyone was friendly and nice except one older Hispanic men (bald head). He is unprofessional and act like a thug. He’s absolutely doesn’t know any proper etiquette on customers service and hospitality. The experience was good until he came and ruined our dinner.
We made reservation for 3 guests at 8pm My friend and I arrived exactly at 8pm We stood in line until 823pm and got inside with a wrist time stamp They informed us that we have 1 hr to eat I told the host at the door that we will come in first My third friend arrived at 850pm I asked if we can have an extra chair and they said they can’t add another chair for this table. We then asked if we can move over to the next table and this was also denied for the reason that he said all tables are all reserved and taken. When in fact, there are so many empty tables available. We didnt want to ruin our friend that just joined us, so one of us walked out to gave the seat for my gf This guy asked to see my wrist time stamp and he said you have 20 mins left. At this point, I already lost my appetite and extremely unhappy I asked him can I just stay with my friend to accompany her? Since she just arrived and how could I just leave her to eat and be there alone. I’ll give you another $15 just let me stay with my friends. I already stopped eating, just being there for my gf and didn’t want to make a scene or complain because I don’t want to ruin her experience as it so bad already. This same guy came back, touched my shoulder from behind and said “I give you another 2 minutes ok?” At this point I had enough. I walked out very upset and the young lady who served me apologized as she knew how inappropriate that was.
In summary, we go out to eat to have fun and enjoy the good food. Would you want a guy that comes to your table and invade your privacy to rudely interrupt your dinner? If you’re worry about people over eating, charge us more but don’t go ruin our experience. This type of practice seems very low grade and won’t apply to most people. Perhaps, this type of service may be acceptable at a homeless food bank but not to...
Read moreThis establishment needs to understand that keeping the RECCURRING customers is what keeps a business successful. They seem unable to maintain the social media outburst on their videos that have gone viral. How will this establishment maintain the growth occured while going viral? Itll eventually die down and all the customers you had will not return back....I had reserved a reservation online among the rest of the customers who had been waiting in the reservation line. They took "walk ins" before taking some of the reservations. #2. I was cut in line by other customers who jumped the line. And the workers did absolutely nothing about it and sat others who had cut the line. #3. They were extremely unprofessional and were asking several people in line if they would like to split a table and were having other parties again cut the lines in order to split tables. I've never been asked in a restaurant to split a table with strangers. That's completely unprofessional and uncomfortable. We were fitted into a super tight hallway as well. It is very dim and dark hard to see there as well. The taco area section had several other customers cutting the line as well. There's no management done here. There needs to be employees assisting where customers need to stand and stay. Other's who were also waiting in the taco stand for meat CUT in front of others as well to the toppings station. This had almost cost me to drop my taco plate. Nothing is labeled for salsa. No labeling for the meats. There's needs to BE labels for the meats and toppings. I had burnt my mouth and couldn't finish my last plate of tacos because one of the salsas were so spicy and burnt my throat. I had thought it was a Chipotle salsa but unfortunately was not due to no proper labeling. It's a ashame because the barboca tacos were absolutely delicious and juicy! As well as the carne asada tacos they were very juicy and seasoned...
Read more1 Star review for management process I am giving this a 1 star just on how the business took about the approach with the all you can eat buffet, as we were coming from a long distance drive to this restaurant to try there food. We were turned away because of no reservation. I want to make it clear had this been the case that a reservation was needed for some time it would be understandable. Although the change only took place a week within social media posts, people are not aware of checking the website within a few days if anything has changed. I feel something so quick to change as a reservation there needs to be some grace for others in terms of the time sequence of the change and the drive for customer service approach. I understand business can change things the next day if they wanted to according to there desire although through a professional setting i feel after social media posts were giving it exposure and there was no signage of reservation at that time and then as people were coming for that following Tuesday were expected to know there was a reservation when a week before there was no indication of RESERVATIONS. I just think a little of a heads up notice and through instagram reels there should have been more of a push to let others know as after reels grew about this place they decided lets put a reservation in my opinion
In terms of the FOOD : i cannot comment because i have not tried the food so i will not give it any stars until i try it to give it a fair rating.
Atmosphere may have been good but walked in to a negative atmosphere as we were turned away
I hope for the future customers can be notified well in advanced, more signage and more marketing to let others...
