Tootie's on 31 — Local services in Fultondale

Decent store here. Pricing is okay I guess (for Alabama non-ABC store prices (which also aren't cheap)). Selection isn't massive but probably have something along the lines of what you might be looking for at any given time. Fair craft/local brew selection in the cooler... especially for the size of the store. Keeps late hours, so that's a plus. Especially since this seems to be the only other liquor store besides the ABC on 31 between G'dale and F'dale. Made a purchase but didn't feel very welcomed. Nobody else was in the store, male clerk watching TV and didn't seem to care whether or not I stayed or left. Female comes from back and kinda shares the same "meh" expression about my wife and being there. For that sole reason, will probably only wind up here in extreme desperate measures... which it'll never be...

Very accommodating cashier, but the real experience is that I crossed paths while driving out a lady flagged me down while driving in and I was exiting, she said that she was having a bad day, needing a few dollars to get a tire repaired because in her words it wouldn't get her to her next destination, while slurring her words and all at the same time she was headed straight to Tootsies a...

Rude old white lady with blonde hair STOLE my ten dollars and then called my life pathetic because I simply asked for her name. She refused her name to me but Judi I believe. And because I simply asked for proof of her not stealing my money she kicked me and my boyfriend out and called the police saying we stole. We of course did not because we were there with our money.
