Some staff were rude and followed me around &it made me feel like they thought I was there to steal and I was not doing nothing except shopping again after coming in a few days before that after spending $$$ $1,200.00 on clothes,shoes,duffle bags,backpacks,It makes me feel like my business was not appreciated&my money was not good enough to make someone feel like that when they don't have to be there to spend money/time looking to save money on shopping there is not right to somebody who has never been In trouble or ever caused trouble with nobody &is not a trouble maker, it's disappointing that workers acted like they were working and checking things when I'm shopping to watch me just to see that I never stole anything,I paid for every little thing I put into my buggy,I paid for everything I Did not steal anything,but I sure felt like something was stolen from me,everything bit of self confidence and self esteem and self worth my self respect for me and for others went our the window that afternoon that night I felt violated by the end of the night I was crying, People have always picked on me&so I'm tougher than to just simply it hurt my feelings I'm used to some degree of it but that was too much when I wasn't taking nothing but paying for more than the supervisors, managers, &employees, paycheck that week in the two hours I went shopping at academy that one night. How rude. No appolgy could make it better or ever make it up to me since that day I've not been back&I've had to return a bag that wasn't quite right I decided to take back,I haven't been able to make myself go back yet. I don't know when or if It will be just a 45$$$almost $$50 loss. Because they could make someone feel that way doesn't mean that they should have,they lost out on future business with that...

Shopping at the store in Gadsden is great,but their online ordering is the worst!!My wife ordered a pair of Justin work boots since they were cheaper than Picketts and Tractor supply(since they were the only ones around that carried them in our location)She ordered them on Dec 7th and was told we would get them in 3 to 5 business days(right!)so on the 12th did not come in She gave them a few more days still no Boots around and the tracking showed they were in Transit,17th She called the store since we were needing them for a Christmas present,the Gadsden store said they were lost in Transit and would have to reorder the boots and it would be after Christmas before we would get them!Crazy!My wife called on Dec 26 to check were they where and they have not been reordered that my wife didn't reordered,in which the store was supposed to send another order to us!My wife spent a long time on the phone different times waiting on talking to some several times being transferred.But today on the 26th She finally talked to someone with some store knowledge who said the order was placed on the 7th of Dec on the 9th nothing else and she didn't understand it,so my wife cancelled the order!She tried cancelling around around the 20th and us going to the store but she was told she couldn't cancell since her order was in...

Was looking at a meat thermometer for $100 and asked the associate if could still get $20 off 100. Cause was passing out the coupons two days before. Was told yes. Got to register to check out at customer service ( that's register I was called to ) and asked for $20 off. Was told by two very rude woman that they was cancelled yesterday without coupon. That all coupons was taken away from registers. I walked to door greeter cause that table still had a stack of them. And asked for one and was told had none. I pointed at the stack and was told no. Went back to register and told them who told me. They replied didnt matter. And was rude about it. I had them call that person up there and they was able to fix it and give me the 20 off. But it was a horrible experience. The item I bought for $80 after discount is only $60 on Amazon anyway. I buy from academy cause dont like ordering online much. But after such a horrid experience I will start buying more from Amazon literally every item is cheaper online even vs a sale. Pathetic business practices at this...
