Trading Post Western & Outdoor - Gadsden — Local services in Gadsden

This is one of the most absurd experiences I've ever encountered. We've bought several pairs of boots and other various items here for a very long time including Carhart jackets, shirts, belts and buckles, a western wallet, etc. We typically have to wait on an order for boots because you're usually out of the size we need and as always, we come to pick up the ordered boots and there's no problem. Well this time, we ordered the same boots because once again, you are out of the size we needed and upon picking up, we are charged almost $50 more than quoted when ordering. The customer service was extremely rude to the point where another customer walked out while overhearing the situation. Never in our experience of coming here has this ever occurred and we are not looking to putting ourselves in a confrontational situation again. When we got to the store, we thought the air was out because the door was propped open but nope, they were just cold and decided to let the a/c cool down the outside air. We spent about an hour in the store buying 2 pair of safety boots / shoes totaling almost $400. Not once did either of the employees ask if we needed assistance or to help find the size needed. Now, once we checked out they were friendly and offered a free t-shirt but I feel like we should have been offered some assistance while shopping. My company sent me here with a voucher for some MetGuard work boots and out of every single different brand and design they had available there was only one single pair of size 13 so I had no other option but to get those or get sent home from my job. Maybe I just caught them at the wrong time, but I wasn't really happy with what they had there to offer but the lady at the register was very friendly and cool so for her sake I will give this place a 3/5...
