Kentlands Place — Local services in Gaithersburg

Kentlands place should be better and they are doing a lot of reconstruction to make it better! They have many great larger stores, like Lowe's, Giant Food, Hallmark, Whole foods, Party City, Petsmart, 5Below, Michaels and many mamy more smaller specilaty stores. And have just rebuilt and opened the local movie theater. But when it comes to finding a great present, clothing, shoes etc, it's still lacking a lot. You can find a Nail salon at every corner and a variety of different types of restaurants and beauty salons too, and professional services galore. However, you'll have to walk far or re-park you car often if you have a long list of items on your to get list. What's missing is a Macy's, Target, Kohl's or Walmart kind of store, for an assortment of fashion options and accessories for the entire family. Sure you can buy your groceries and DIY stuff, but it's a large "campus" to cover within a busy residential neighborhood. So plan for lot's of...

Here you'll find a huge "Party Store"; "LOWES"; and a "GIANT Food" grocery store. That's just to name a few among many other stores, shops, and boutiques.

To name the restaurants that are throughout this shopping center would take a ridiculously long time, and the list would eventually begin to feel longer than it needs to be.

The only store that comes to mind, that's worth EVERY PENNY to steer clear of, is "Whole Foods". Their prices are ridiculously high!

Why would anyone in their right mind want to pay $200.00 + for just a handful of grocery bags? When you can wisely spend that same $200.00 at the "GIANT Food" that's across the parking lot, and purchase an entire week's worth of food to feed a nuclear family (a family of four)?

Besides "Whole Foods", you simply can't go wrong with visiting...

Great tasting Indian food. Love their Dosa and Chaat. Also in North Indian food Shahi paneer is good, wont say the best, but still good. Veg Manchurian is good as well. Hot bread has great variety of cakes including eggless ones. Butterscotch and Black Forest are the best.
