RIO Washingtonian Center Playground — Attraction in Gaithersburg

I think Rio is one of the places for MoCo residents to enjoy with family. With plenty of choices of restaurants, not to mention the new movie theaters, there is plenty to enjoy at Rio. As the population grows in MoCo, it is getting over crowded, especially over the weekends. The kids play ground definitely needs some expanding. It is very small for the amount of people bring their kids to enjoy some running...

It's a good location for a playground being at the Rio shopping area. There is plenty of parking and a man made pond to walk around. The playground area is nice but can definitely get overcrowded. There is a merry-go-round in walking distance and many restaurants to make the entire experience...

I feel lucky to find this playground while dining nearby. The slide is tall and fun. The hallway all the way to the slide is designed by the age groups. Although it was quite crowded during the time, my kid had a blast there. You do need to accompany your child...
