Hobby Lobby — Local services in Gallup

I love this Hobby Lobby. The staff are amazing up front. At times I feel like the security staff need to ease down. The people they use are obviously not going to buy anything and stare too much to make you feel uneased. After all it is Gallup NM so you'll get that treatment at almost every business due to being Native American. Hobby Lobby in Flagstaff and Phoenix are amazing experiences. Honestly most of my shopping at HB are never less than a hundred dollars. The restrooms are always clean and the store is always well organized and the clearance prices are a must buy. Many unique items are usually stocked and if unsure go online to shop or check an item. Hobby Lobby took me from Jo-Ann and Michaels because of racial profiling. I like the area that has the old signs of the car's and truck's, which I had bought a couple for myself. My wife and I bought several items from this location. My problem with the Hobby Lobby store's are for 1, 90% of all their stock is from China not the USA! That bothers me a lot, because I truly believe that we need to be supporting the USA. We already have Wal-Mart who first started out with them pushing USA made, and now try to find anything made in the USA. Has our own Country turned it's back on itself? I sure hope not, but that is what it's looking like when you walk into these stores and see all these labels. I for one would have thought that Hobby Lobby would have been selling brands from the USA, but I sure was wrong and they could always change it...

Love Hobby Lobby but this location always seems to have kids running everywhere. Today was no exception. Two kids came running through the mall entrance, playing tag, darting quickly through the glass home decor. As I was turning a corner another kid nearly ran right into me and another nearly tripped over my 4 year old. There were no parents around and The employees seemed to care less. When I pointed it out, the employee just shrugged her shoulders like it was normal. Maybe it is normal here but basic respect for a place of business, especially like Hobby Lobby, should be expected...
