Starbucks — Restaurant in Garden City

I rarely ever write reviews, especially bad reviews. So know that it’s bc this place is just that bad that I’d take time out of my day to write this. I’ve been to this Starbucks a number of times and this place is just awful. Almost every time I go it’s a 20+ minute wait to get a drink. Yes most of the time it’s just one drink. I almost always go to target to get a drink bc they’re fast and they rarely ever mess up, I wish I could tip targets Starbucks bc they deserve their tips. This place however, I just don’t understand why they are sooo slow and how they mess up half of the time. Until I started to go inside instead of the drive thru thinking it would be faster. Nope, these people are laughing, playing around with each other, busting jokes and playing games, which makes them look like they’re busy. Took 15 minutes inside for a small strawberry acia. We live out of town but I’m in GC almost weekly. My daughter got her tonsils removed the week prior and we had just finished her postop appointment and all she wanted was a strawberry acia. There were 2 cars in line so knowing this place that would have taken 20mins. So I went inside instead, well jokes on me bc they still took 15 minutes for one drink, and what’s crazy was nobody was even inside the building. That’s not even my bad experience to be honest. Last time I went there there were 4 cars in line and since it just pasted 8pm I knew target was closed. So after debating in my head whether it was worth taking a drink home I decided to get in line. After 25 mins of waiting I FINALLY got to the intercom and as soon as I pulled up there was this automated voice saying they were closed. It was only 8:30 and there were 3 more cars behind me. So I was trapped in the line and the cars in front of me still haven’t got they’re drinks yet. They didn’t even have the decency to tell me why they were closing early. So I called them, told them I’ve been in line for over 20 minutes and that I live an hour away and if I can order over the phone, which they let me. I ended up waiting almost 40 minutes to get 1 drink in the drive thru that night and what’s worse, it wasn’t even busy inside. I know bc that debate I had earlier in my head was also debating going inside instead bc it didn’t look like it was busy at all in the building. It’s a lose lose situation no matter what you choose when going there. If you do choose to go there and you go through the drive thru, do know if you decide you don’t want to wait anymore you can not just leave either. You’re stuck there until all the cars in front of you are done. Which this whole Starbucks really bites bc I was really looking forward to getting a Starbucks drive thru. Instead I almost always leave frustrated and annoyed, and by that point you can’t really even enjoy your drink. Whoever is running this place needs the boot and new management needs to come inn and train these kids. I travel all over the states and I go to Starbucks multiple times while on the road and I’ve been to Starbucks that get maxed out and they’re twice as fast as this Starbucks. I wish I could give a lower review for the service provided today. I ordered ahead and gave myself at least 10 minutes before I would arrive due to knowing this Starbucks is slow. When I placed the order the time said 10-13 min before ready. I arrived and waited another 30 minutes at least before my drink was ready. The lobby and drive through were both full of people waiting. There were 3 ladies working and it seemed as if only one drink was being made at a time by one person. The other two were just walking around and talking. This is extremely unacceptable. Like I mentioned I know this location already take a long time to make drinks but I have never waited so...

We tried the drive through 2 weeks ago. The line wasn’t too long,maybe 5 cars but we ended up in line over 20 minutes.

On a Saturday, my wife wanted to try again, but go inside. There was a small group in front of her that had already paid and were waiting. After about 5 minutes a girl came in, ordered and soon got her drink and left. Then another 2 girls come in, ordered and got their stuff and left.

The small group started asking about their order. My wife asked about hers.

After about 25 minutes of waiting, my wife just told them to cancel her drink, which she paid for, then left. This place is a joke. If you have less than 30 minutes to be anyplace, don’t...
