The Crêperie Cafe — Restaurant in Idaho

I went here on my birthday and the stuck-up sea hag at the register, refused to say hello to us, when we greeted her with the same. Nearly ruined my birthday! This snot-nosed, little brat should be fired, she should greet us, not the other way around, and how dare she ignore our greeting?! What kind of pathetic customer service is that? She most assuredly did not get a tip from us, and i noticed there was not one red cent in the tip jar... either she empties it, to garner sympathy, or, it's indicative of how her customers feel about what she deserves and how terrible a job she is doing...

The food... could be better. I had the ma province; the pesto was a bit salty, but pesto is so delicious, it's tough to really screw it up TOO bad... the rest of it seemed a bit thrown together, bug still managed to be pleasant and flavorful. my husband had the burnt aussie, which was basically some pre-made, popcorn chicken, bbq sauce, cheese and bacon, thrown into a crepe. I think this concrpt could be amazing, with a bit more creativity and effort... a bit fresher, i suppose might be nice... either way, the food was edible, did its job, it's passable, just not something i could get terribly excited about going back to, especially with that deplorable excuse of a clerk to look forward to...

if she were gone, i would definitely be FAR less hesitent to return, though some of the sweet crepes looked pretty tempting... that clerk just really ruined the whole vibe and completely deflated the mood and experience... this place has a lot of potential... getting rid of that cotton-headed imp, at the counter, would go A LOOONG WAY towards living up to that...

Went here for the first time today and had the worst experience!! I went with three friends that all really recommended this place!! We got there at about 1:45 and all four of us ordered our food. First person got a savory crepe and mozzarella sticks, second person got a sweet crepe, third person ordered 1 sweet and 1 savory and then i ordered just a sweet crepe. Within about 15 minutes the first girl got her order, another 8 mins the second got hers. Well then another 25 mins go by and nothing!!! We were sitting there wondering what the heck?! We were talking about how terrible this is and we think an employee on break heard us because a few moments go by and a worker comes out and tells us she’s sorry their printer didn’t print our orders. Ummmmm….It took you over half an hour after ordering to tell us this??? So we waited and finally the third order with the two different crepes came out. I literally got my food finally at 2:50pm!!! An entire hour AFTER ORDERING!!! To make things even better my crepe was so over cooked it was like eating paper, but I was so hungry I needed to eat something! I couldn’t even cut mine with the plastic knife I was given! I live out in Caldwell and you can bet I will not be going back there and honestly I will tell people do not waste your money here because it was terrible customer service and...

I came here for the first time and will definitely be back. For the food, I ordered the Citron. It was delicious a little sour but, it is lemon. I'll probably order a little more powder sugar next time. I also ordered the Ma Provence without pesto. (I don't like pesto of any kind. ) It was very tasty and cooked to perfection.

I got a large Italian soda with cream. Made perfectly.

The food was done quickly. The young lady at the cash register was a bit slow and needed help. (It was her second day.)

The man that was cooking (I'm guessing owner/manager) was very patient with her and helped her through it.

I Before I'm done I would like to address the one star people.

#1 As far as the food goes, it was delicious so not sure what you are talking about. And yes I know what a crepe is soposed to taste like. (I'm a gourmet chef)

#2 The service. They have a young staff that was new But, wasn't rude or dismissive at all.

#3 If you have an bad experience anywhere, you might want to talk to management, before leaving one star in a 5 star...
