DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AT THIS STORE! If I could give a negative star review, I would. Went in to take advantage of a $1,000 promotion transferring a line over to Verizon from Nextech and had to trade the phone in to get the promotion. Turns out we never got the promotion even after trading the phone in. What was supposed to be a $1,000 promotion, is now coming out of our pocket. We went in multiple times to ask them why the promotion wasn’t reflecting on our bill, and they gave us the run around and said they knew what they were doing and that it’s right but obviously it isn’t. We drove 2 hours to Hays and within 5 minutes, Todd figured out what had happened and is going above and beyond trying to get the promotion fixed for us. We will always go out of our way to drive two hours one way and spend the extra money on fuel to go to the Verizon in Hays, KS over the one in Garden City, KS, even if it’s just something small...
Read moreWe needed a phone before a trip and knew it might not come in time. Ordered it on Wednesday and needed it by Friday. So Friday came and went and they never called to say it was in like they said they would. I called verizon corporate 6 days later and they say the phone did arrive to their store last Friday and Jose signed for it. So I was disappointed but still called the store to verify it was in and we have to drive 35 minutes to come get it and activate it. They assure me they have it. We get to the store and they tell us they can’t activate until tomorrow. Thanks for wasting our time. DO NOT use this store. Go through Verizon online. They are much cheaper and have better customer service. Sorry I raised my voice at the salesman but they deserved it after wasting hours...
Read moreI was more than 2000 miles from home and my phone stopped receiving inbound calls. More than 3 hours on the phone with Verizon tech support left my phone being a deactivated paper weight. The last tech I spoke to told me to go to a Verizon store, and when I said it was 3 hours round trip to get to one he said okay and hung up. I was not hopeful. Erica greeted me after driving 1.5 hours to the Garden City store and exuded confidence in being able to get the issue resolved. Over 5 hours later (and almost 4 hours on the phone with her tech support agent), Erica had hooked me up with a new phone at no cost and stayed more than hour after closing to make certain that everything transferred.
