After over 7 hours of driving, we decided to eat at IHOP instead of going home and cooking supper and I regret the stop. Don’t leave a tip on the table and expect to get the correct change when you pay the bill. Left a $4 tip but obviously that wasn’t good enough for the server. I would highly recommend that everyone wait until after paying your bill before leaving a tip. I wouldn’t have left one after the scam that was pulled on me. What a joke our experience was. Just made it our last visit. I won’t recommend this place to anyone. This is a pathetic way to increase the tip. Why would the server be deceptive and not give me all change I was entitled to? Then after I asked about the rest of the change I wasn’t given, his response was “oh, do you want the $.94 change”? Food wasn’t good and the service was mediocre but obviously he felt entitled to try and scam me for as much tip as possible. $31 plus change was my bill total, we left a $4 tip which was far more than reasonable but then to pull this deceptive trick when I was paying my bill was totally unacceptable. I should’ve went back to the table and removed the tip we left but instead, we left before I created a scene. This was the equivalent of stealing from the register but adding a scam on to the customer. How many other’s have they done this to? Didn’t get the opportunity to review the food we ordered because by the time we got home, I felt like I got food poisoning. I ordered a burger and French fries but got waffle fries. I have no interests in copying and pasting the link but would come in person to call the server out in front of his boss. Nothing would probably be done since he acted calm like it wasn’t his first time doing this. For all I know, maybe this was part of training to get bonus tips. I want everyone to know about this so they don’t get scammed. Best way to get the best/most tip would be with great customer service, not being deceptive and steal...
Read moreWent for breakfast and it took 15 minutes to seat us which no biggie they were mildly busy. But when we were seated it took 10 minutes for anyone to even ask us what we wanted to drink. Took another 10 for him to bring the drinks. He took our order (which was simple) took 30+ minutes to get our food, when we got it it was completely wrong. And our server wasn't even the one who delivered it and when I mentioned it to the lady who delivered it she said ok so. And when our server came back and I told him he said ok what do you want me to do then?! I said well ill just eat this one thing just please take the mess up and forgotten items off our ticket. And I asked for him to bring some syrup and butter and he walked off and didn't come back. So I asked a separate server 15 minutes later to go get the manager (she was RUDE upon arriving) when I let her know what happened she smiled and said ya I heard about you and I will talk to him. Then the GM was there and cleaning off tables and mingling and he asked how it was and so I politely told him and all he said was oh sorry I will talk to him and took our plates and walked off. We had to go to the front to pay our ticket because our server never came back and they had taken one forgotten item off but nothing else and she was arguing so I just paid and left! Will not...
Read moreMe and my girlfriend went in to eat and there ends up being hair IN HER FOOD. There was no hair in mine and we got the same order of eggs (over medium). So we wait , we didn’t flag anyone down or be rude. But then the manager (Richard Dexter) walks over and asks if everything is okay , mind you we didn’t flag him down. She explains the situation and just ask if there is a way for them to remake the plate or just to take it off the tab because she doesn’t want to eat it. He takes it from her very quickly and then starts pointing at a completely different areas then what we were talking about and I don’t know about you guys, but I can see black scraggly hair on both eggs. He said that he works around eggs all the time and he sells them and that it’s not hair but from the skillet. It was heavily unprofessional, and the way that he handled the situation was not in a way that any business owner should want their managers to be handling situations. Especially when the chef is not being well kept. He talked to us in an Unprofessional and inappropriate manner . And frankly I will never be coming back. Might I add we looked him up and he’s getting blasted on Facebook for having inappropriate relations with associates that just so happened to be minors. Overall, clearly not a good guy who you’d want working in...
