We spent time on several mattresses as he spoke, about what we could expect on soft, medium and firm mattresses. At the end he asked us, on which mattress we felt the most comfortable. For us it turned out to be a firm mattress. He then had us try three different mattresses, all of which were firm. While he explained the differences between the lower, medium and higher priced models. At the end it really came down to comfort, both with the mattress we chose and with James.
