I have been dealing with Kevin for my aquarium hobby needs for over 20 years, at various venues. Kevin (Aqualations) had always been as helpful, and informative as his time would allow, as he stays very busy keeping his stock clean, healthy and organized. His knowledge and passion for aquatic and / or marine life is unique and on point. What I appreciate the most, is that he has spoke about attending seminars and meetings to build on what seems to be a never ending thirst for even more knowledge. Kevin cares about the community of hobbyists as well - always encouraging aquaculture within the vast and growing network of people who share his joy of the hobby itself. His store never disappoints, and he is fair, and competitive with his prices. My wife and I are 1.5 hours away, so it's always a special treat to visit...

His knowledge and patience are unmatched, and he’s always willing to provide helpful advice to make sure my tank thrives.

The staff is friendly making every visit enjoyable. On top of that, they offer house call cleanings, which have been a lifesaver for me as a brand new aquarium owner.

Amazing store! Hidden gem of traverse city. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. Store is very clean and all the tanks hold beautiful, vibrant, and healthy critters 😊. Coral selection is out of this world. Tons of beautiful coral displays, and even though this is the only place i can find to get coral (or really any marine critters) within 100 miles, his prices are surprisingly low. This store has literally everything i needed for my first reef tank, and the owner has been a HUGE help getting me started, and im a total newbie😅.
