I’m a 16 year old girl that came into Victoria secret/pink in traverse city mall on January 21, 2024. I don’t normal right reviews or try and bash businesses, but I went there and was very surprised to find out there there was 2 male employees and one female. This normally this doesn’t bother me but I went to try some items on and the men working there was offering to measure me for a bra and asking to help me check if it fit right. I said no thank you and then he proceeded to ask me again a little while later. I get that he was trying to do his job but I had already said no thank once I should not have to tell them twice that I don’t not want them looking at my chest. I’m not trying to bash anyone but I believe that if it’s women’s lingerie and underwear store that is specifically for women that men should not be allowed to work there, especially middle aged straight men. I just find it uncomfortable to have ask men to try on stuff that considered intimate clothing. I’m not trying to be sexist but I believe women should be able to to walk around the store with out feeling uncomfortable by a man trying to get you to try on bras. I hope people understand where I’m coming from as I said before I’m not trying to bash the business. I love pink and Victoria secret but I i My opinion is that it should be a place a woman can feel comfortable shopping for...

She has asked me every single time that I come into the store if I want to be fitted and when I tell her no thank you, she asks again and insists that everyone needs to be sized every 6 months. I am a 47 year old woman who has had the same breasts for my entire life and I know what size bra I wear. I'm not in there because my bra doesn't fit anymore, I'm in there because I want to buy another bra or a different style. When I brought my 13 year old daughter in to buy a bra we already knew what size she wore but the woman was very insistent about trying to fit her even when I said no thank you, and when my daughter was in the dressing room, she told me that I should let her go into the dressing room with my daughter alone because my daughter would be more comfortable without me there. This is presumptuous and inappropriate. I hope the employee reads this review and decides to back off a bit, it would make shopping at this store much more enjoyable. IF YOU ASK SOMEONE AND THEY SAY NO THANK...
Read moreVisited this location dozens of times in the last decade and have had no issue. This last visit my wife and I were greeted pleasantly, but were looking for pajamas and said we didn't need help as we freely wanted to browse. Before we realized it, every employee of the store was aggressively trying to "help us shop". They thought we were shop lifting....
My wife even overheard the manager mention to a clerk to "keep an eye on them" when gesturing to us. It was the most alienating feeling I have ever felt in any store anywhere. It soured our mood, we found the item we were looking for, a set of pajamas for my wife to wear the morning she is getting ready for our wedding in a few weeks. We paid, and left.
We will never be back....
