If I could have given this place a 0 I would have. Greg told me he had a pair of 150 honda outboards for sale in perfect condition, no problems mechanically and were cosmetically in perfect condition. so I made plans to drive the 12 hours to come and pick them up for our agreed price, I loaded up the snowmobile trailer, packed up the family and headed down the coastline to get these twin outboard engines. Once I arrived several hours later and several hundred dollars in gas later, I was greeted by Greg himself and, boy, all I can say is this man is probably the meanest, rudest most unprofessional person I have even met in business, period. Not only did he lie to me on the phone about the condition of the motors but he made me and my family feel unwanted and downright scared to be there. The motors were not only rusted beyond repair but the paint on the outside of the engines had been completely sun rotten and it looked like a 15 year old tried to respray the engines with a paint that didn't match the original color(probably done by one of his employees who obviously does not know what he's doing). Please, if you are thinking about doing business with this unprofessional business, I highly recommend looking around. I have no idea how this business is...
Read moreWe decided to re-power our 2002 Motion Marine and it was very involved doing away with the old sport jet and switching to an outboard.
While doing that, they re-wired the entire boat and installed new pumps, electronics, and washdown system all while coordinating with my fabricator during the process.
I should mention we were out of town for months while this unfolded adding another degree of difficulty given the communication challenges. However, they knew what needed to be done and how to do it the right way.
These guys really did do an amazing job as the sea trials started today, and everything worked flawlessly.
We love everything Bill and Darren did at Greg's Marine and the entire staff really made us feel like they cared and that we mattered.
I'm rarely impressed in this day and age but mark me down as such. They, along with my fabricator, made an amazing...
Read moreMy kicker 10 hp motor developed a crack in the fuel line on launching So instead of fishing took my grandkids for a cruise on the Nehalem. Had more kids than room so waited at the dock for half hour to exchange kids. My main motor (sport jet) then would not start. Tried priming it but felt no gas in the bulb. I had put in 20 gallons a few days earlier. Was close to the dock and with help of some paddle boarders got the powerless boat on my trailer. Had no clue what was wrong. Went to get parts for the kicker fuel line. The woman behind the counter helped me find what I needed. She also explained my boat likely had a single line to both motors; the air in the kicker line caused the main engine to fail to get gas. She was right! Offered to have me talk on the phone to one of their mechanics if didn’t work .
Great service!...
