Wheelchair friendly. This place is amazing to visit any day of the week. They have such a unique selection of kids toys, camping & hunting gear. But, nothing beats the Santa Wonderland photo experience. They literally found the real Santa. He looks legit like the Santa you always dreamed had existed. His jolly laugh and real mustache and beard scream Christmas magic. My kids loved sitting with him. My son didn't understand about being asked what they want for Christmas and asked Santa what HE wanted for Christmas. His response was "cookies". Lol. They have 3 packages to choose from if interested but you are able to take your very own pics as well. There are a couple free activities for kids to play with there as well. For those who are post-Santa age, they have such a great lobby for great Christmas pics as well (Gorgeous tree & fireplace). We love the animals and aquarium this store has. During COVID it was our one outing if we got cabin fever. They have amazing coupons and deals. They also have a rewards program. Def check out their rewards program via brochure at the front customer service desk. Employees are friendly and professional. They can guide you to whatever it is your adventurous heart is lookin' for. *^ We love this store and will def be back many times more. Thanks for making life easier in 2020!~

The photo below is what greets customers at 10:00 AM on Saturday and is a precursor to the entire experience. Shelves are bare in hunting/firearms. Gun Library is chock full of decoys with about 20 guns in there for decoration. Gun Library outfitter did not even glance in my direction when I, the sole customer, walked around the library twice. Candy is everywhere. Decoys are everywhere. Reloading displays are broken, lying on their sides or ready to fall off the shelf. What merchandise was available in hunting (reloading) was disorganized. Prices were not on display for the merchandise that was on the shelf. Hunting is in shambles. The gun counter which used to be fully stocked had very few rifles in the racks and no attempt was made to make racks look full or fuller. Handgun counters were chock full of hats, decoys, and holsters but very few guns. Clothing was full of course because that is what the store now promotes. Redhead. Most merchandise was disorganized. Never found white cotton socks. They were probably in the sun glasses area. Bargain cave was a disaster and looked like a flea market stall. All-in-all, this store has suffered serious degradation from it's initial launch. I am embarrassed to have been an employee years ago seeing what I saw this Saturday. I would recommend you shop elsewhere.

I was in the area with my family after eating at Tgi's so we decided to walk some of it off and what better place than one of the bigger Cabelas that we have been to. This used to be the go to place for my ammo, firearms, and firearm accessories but between the pandemic and I guess the decision to stop carrying sport rifles it is definitely not the same store that we visited 3 years ago. When I anxiously made my way to the coveted (Gun Library), I discovered a large gun safe blocking the way with an empty showcase of Nothing. I went to the ammo shelves.Nothing.I went to the boats thinking it could lift my spirits... Not much going on here anymore.

First off, I ended up getting what I wanted, so it was not terrible. But this was not a great experience. After weeks of my feet hurting from an old pair of work boots, I decided it was time to buy some new ones. Upon entering the shoe section, a lady asked if I needed any help. I told her I was good for now, but I might need something in a few minutes. After trying on a handful of boots, I found the ones that I wanted. The lady had disappeared, and was nowhere to be found. After finding another employee, they called for her to come back over. After about 5 minutes, she arrived. I asked her if they had the Keen boots that I wanted, in my size. For some reason, at this point, her face had soured, and her attitude had blossomed into something negative. She told me that no, they probably didn't have the boots. I asked if she would go check and see, which she did. About 3 minutes later, she came back and sat a random box at the end of the aisle, and did not say anything to me. I kept looking at boots, thinking she might let me know what was going on. After a couple of minutes, I looked at the end of the aisle, and noticed that the box was the boot I had requested in my size. This was pretty off-putting, to me. Because in my head, it seems right to let someone know, when you want to communicate with them. While waiting for her to bring back the boots, I had looked online to see if there were any reviews. At the same time, I noticed that most companies that sold the boots were selling them at a sale price. At this point, I looked up the price matching policy of bass pro, and it said that they would not be outsold, and as long as you could prove that it was the same item and the retailer was selling it at a certain price, they would price match it. I waited for Miss Hateful to come back and asked her how the price matching worked. She told me basically the same rules as the website said. So I had her look at my phone so she could see the Keen website sale price. Then she told me she did not think that Keen would be acceptable as a price matching retailer. Which I thought was dumb. She then mentioned it would need to be someone like amazon, so I showed her that Amazon had the same price. Then she I said that it would not be okay because it would have to be shipped and sold through amazon. I retorted by telling her that the item was shipped and sold by amazon, to which she rudely replied that I had just shown her the picture and it was not sold and shipped through amazon. So I scrolled down and had her look at the fact that it, in fact, was sold and shipped by amazon. She then told me that the savings were too great, and she did not think that it would be possible to match the price, directing me to ask the front of the store. By this point, I realized that she just didn't want to help me, and was hoping that I could not get the price match. It still seemed like an okay thing to try to take up with the front of the store, so I went to the cashier, who agreed that it was a big price difference, but most people were selling the boots at the sales price. After checking with a couple of managers, the cashier sold me the boots for the sale price. So, yes, I got the boots at the sales price, but I still have no idea why the lady treated me so rudely. We had literally only had a one-sentence conversation before she came back and was rude. She stayed rude until I was out of her section. She acted like I was doing a disservice by shopping...

Absolutely love this place. Inside and outside ois designed beautifully. I adore all the taxidermied mounts that line the drop wall from the ceiling that hangs down like 15' from the ceiling and kinda follows along the center walkway straight down the middle of the store from the entrance. As you enter you walk inside greeted by this enormous fireplace and restrooms immediately toup the left of the fireplace. Nice couch and plenty of chairs to sit down around the fireplace and catch your breath if you are elderly, out of shape, or just plain out not able bodied. With the fireplace on your right straight down thru the middle of the store is that walkway I mentioned that separates the women's clothing on the left from the men's clothing on the right and dead center in the very back is one of the most amazing freshwater sport fishing aquarium displays I've ever seen in a sportsman's store. Immediately left of there is your firearms and ammo. Then to your immediate right is where shoes & boots begin and they run almost completely to the opposite wall from where the guns, gun safes, and ammunition sells floor is. Across the front right side of the store starting immediately to the right of the extremely nice grand fireplace marking the entrance(if you were looking at the front of the store from outside its to the right) is grills, smokers, coolers, camping supplies hammocks, on further down some boat stuff, etc... Across the front left side of the store is their checkout counters with immediately after you pass them is their sunglasses sales dept. ( Oakley, Costa, Ray Ban, etc....) given begins the women's clothing which runs slam to the walkway that runs from one side of the store to the other which is the boundary that separates women's clothing from Firearms, safes, ammunition, optics, and all the amazing stuff. They did have a somewhat small but plentiful selection of outdoorsmen style toys in their toy section for the bae-baes as well. Store seemed to be well staffed as well even in the midst of this covid 19 pandemic. Went in loafed around and looked like we wanted to picked up what we had to have while we were there (obviously while practicing social distancing) and went and got in line and didn't take anytime at all to get checked out had 3 people in front of us and one had quite a few items but I bet we still weren't in stock 5 minutes. Very clean store and definitely appeared to be doing their part to help fight the spread of the pandemic. They had an employee in the sunglasses sales dept. that they had manning that station purely for sanitation reasons. She was more than helpful and accommodating to let me try a hundred different pairs of shades IF I had wanted to she just asked me to lay each pair I tried on to the side once I finished with them and that she would return them to the shelf once she had completed their sanitation protocol on the glasses. Gotta be one of/if not my top sportsman store of all time so far Still haven't been to the early nice Bass Pro like the one in Springfield but that's way out in the midwest and I live in southeastern NC. That's my review thanks...

I dont write reviews but this place deserves zero stars. Worst customer service in any bass pro/Cabelas (or any other outdoors store) I have ever been in. I ordered a Tikka hunting rifle online to go on a big hunt that I have planned and my fiance ordered a ruger rim fire rifle because she loves to shoot rim fire. We went to get our orders and I was delayed on the background check (happens all the time). My fiance has a concealed carry and was cleared immediately and was told she couldn't take her gun because we live at the same address. She used her "club card" and paid it off in full with cash while we were there. Over a week later I called to check the status and the gun counter was "extremely busy" so I was connected to customer service where an extremely rude lady acted like she didn't have time for my questions. Finally she gathered my contact information and said they would give me a call back. After waiting for a couple of days I called back when again I had to talk to a different extremely rude lady that Finally connected me to the firearms desk where I talked to a rude gentleman that acted like he didn't have time for me. After asking when I could pick up my rifle he said I have to wait 30 days for the background check to expire and come fill it out again where the same thing could happen again. (At this point I was getting annoyed by the disrespect and bad attitude of the employees) I told him I live an hour and 45 minutes away and I don't have time to keep coming that far to not get anywhere with the process and I can't put off the hunt because of waiting possibly months for their policy to allow me to purchase a rifle. He got a really big bad attitude at that point and said give me your order number and I will just refund you the money...... OKAY, so I did just that. Not a problem since I can have the same rifle sent to a local shop that will appreciate my business and treat me with respect. A few minutes later they called my fiance and very rudely told her that her money was refunded to her card (the card that she paid off in full with cash at their location) and the rim fire that she had already done the paperwork on and processed and cleared was no longer hers because I canceled my order (mainly due to poor customer service)... She asked how does that work since she paid her card off in full with cash and was told "that was her problem go take it up with the card carrier." Also not sure how a firearm that was already processed in her name can be taken back without her clearance, is that even legal? I have bought multiple firearms from bass pro and never have i had the horrible customer service experience that I had with this location. I will be paying off my club cards (yes I have multiple) and will no longer use bass pro due to the poor service at this location. I have already bought and received a new rifle that I will be using on my hunt and was treated like a king at a local gun shop instead of being treated like a criminal and belittled by the Bass Pro / Cabelas staff...
