We had an amazing time at The Hot Spot – Paint Your Own Pottery (and More)! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by the owner, Virginia, who is an absolute gem. She made us feel right at home, and her passion for the space was evident in every detail. The other employee working was also fantastic—super friendly, helpful, and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed to create something special.

The studio itself is beautifully organized, with a great selection of pottery pieces and plenty of vibrant colors to choose from. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it the perfect place to unwind and get creative. One thing that really stood out was how immaculately clean the entire space was—especially the bathroom, which was probably the cleanest we’ve seen in any business!

I love hot spot! The owner and staff are so kind and knowledgeable. They have a great option of ceramic pieces to choose from, and they are fair with pricing. You buy the piece you want, and then you can come back and paint as many times as you want until you finish. I have a larger piece that I come back and paint a few hours at a time currently. Once done with your piece, they will fire it in less than a week, and you will be texted to return for your masterpiece.

They also have canvas painting, mosaics, candle making, fairy gardens(succulents), and slime making. There is something for all ages. I have brought my three year old with me, too, and she loves it!

Virginia is a gift! The space is fun, clean, and warm. She told me all about the amazing things her store is and will be offering in the future, and when I mentioned I wish my kids were old enough, she said "bring them!" So I did. They are two under 4, and she was AMAZING. She helped me set up, individually assisted my kids, recommended food we got a discount on, and really helped us have a beautiful experience. When one kid got restless, she orchestrated play and put on familiar songs. I'll be a regular based on how wonderful her spirit is. And they have such fun things!
