I would have to say that this place is Garner's best kept secret! I'm an avid boot lover and I can tell you that this place here will blow your mind! The selections are out of this world and the price point is right where it needs to be! They also had quite a few that were on SALE!!!!!
As I entered the store, I was greeted with a nice warm welcome and was hit with the nicest smell of leather throughout the atmosphere. A few moments later, I was approached by a sales staff member named, "Tatiana". She was very friendly and very knowledgeable of the product that they carry and she offered excellent suggestions for other family members of mine! She answered any questions that I had and she made my browsing experience very pleasant especially since that was my first time stepping foot (no pun intended😆) in that store!
She let me browse at my own pace and she personalized the experience by not jumping from customer to customer as many sales people do in most retail establishments!
I explained to her that I had a couple pairs of boots that I stopped wearing because they were a bit tight and she invited me to bring them in for a free boot stretching! So of course that has a dual purpose because it will get me back in the store to take a look at other selections that they may have since my first visit plus take advantage of the free service.
I am definitely taking them up on the offer as well as coming back to add to my personal...
Read moreFirst off, if I could say the staff get a 5/5, absolutely no complaints there. They are kind over the phone, and helpful in person. I was there even on Black Friday with a line around the store and impressed with their speed and efficiency, and yeah great job to staff
My issue is more with the selection...I have small feet and work in a trade, so needed work boots. While boot barn was the only store with any women's sizes in stock, they had effectively 2 pairs, both their own brand (hawx). The first pair I had holes worn in both soles within a month of purchasing. The manager helped me with a return, but warned me the second pair wouldn't be warranty eligible...again no qualms with the staff they're great. The second pair had an eye hook break off with normal wear and tear literally the first day. I didn't want to call back and complain, since the manager had been so helpful, but it's frustrating that boot barn is pushing their own brand so hard, and this is the quality. I expect $150 boots to last at least two-three months that's crazy to me!
I know availability of women's work wear is a larger issue, but frustrating to see racks on racks of men's work boots, and a fraction of a rack for women's...anyways I'm really just screaming into the void here but yeah. 5/5 for staff, but the boot quality could use some work, especially when there the...
Read moreMy friends and I went in this past Sunday hoping to buy our first ever cowboy boots. When we originally walked in, we were helped and told them we wanted to just look around first to get an idea of what we want. None of us had ever been to Boot Barn. We were in the store a total of 30 minutes probably and were followed around the entire time by one of the workers. Before you assume they were hoping to help, they were not! This worker had never even approached us and asked if we needed anything. She just followed us around and pretended to work! She would be at the jeans near us just fiddling and staring. Then we moved closer into the boot aisle out of her sight, and a minute later, she was near us again. We had no bags in our hands. We brought our wallets in only.
We were racially profiled and it is quite disgusting to see in 2025. People pay 100s of dollars for these boots and to see new customers going in and being treated like this is insane. I will never ever go back to this Boot Barn. When we spoke to someone at the front desk about this issue before we left, the only thing they could say was "Oh, I wish there was something I could do for you". How about don't be racist?!?!
To all of my POC and non POC who don't stand for this, spend your hard earned money...
