Jos A. Bank is genuinely the worst experience I’ve ever had with any suit place/ clothing place. I’ve been there multiple times and I’ve had to usually go back because they mess up measurements or I have major scuffs on my suit or shoes. One time I had a ton of scuffs on my shoes that they used a black magic marker to cover up with, genuinely ridiculous. This weekend though was the worst experience I’ve ever had, it was my cousins wedding and we all rented suits from Jos A. Bank and I kid you not 4 out of 7 of the guys had to go back to fix their suits because the measurements on the pants was at least 3 inches off and that doesn’t seem like a lot but when you are 3 inches short you can almost literally see your whole sock with that much off which is crazy and their excuse was “that’s how people wear them now”. I don’t know one person that does not wear them to their shoes. One of the guys didn’t even go back to fix his pants because he didn’t have time and when we finally got 2 of the suits back they weren’t ready until a day before the wedding. Then the next day which is the wedding all the groomsmen are getting ready and THEY LEFT SHOWS OUT OF ONE OF THE GROOMSMEN'S BAG!! We called and the excuses came flying in so we had to have somebody run by the store and pick up the shoes which conveniently were sitting on the counter. The exact shoes we needed. When we finally got our suits on 2 of the shoes were a different color then the other while the other 5 were mat the other 2 were glossy. When my uncle went to return the suits the only refunds they gave him were for 2 pairs of shoes. That’s it. Jos A. Banks is a joke and no one should ever go there, and if you do choose to go there, prepare to deal with employees who have no idea the field they are working in. THIS PLACE...
Read moreWorst experience I've ever had in a store. We went into the store to pick out tuxes for our wedding and the associate was super rude. He seemed annoyed we wanted to set up an account, then was asking us about tux options without showing us a single thing. My fiance walked to the side of the counter we were filling out the paper at and he rudely snapped "no you need to stand right there". We then asked to see green color swatches for ties and he snapped for us to not move when we went to look at other items in the store right next to where we were standing. Once he brought the swatches they were teal not green and snapped at me annoyed for saying I need green. THIS IS FOR MY WEDDING. He then without saying a word walked away and I asked to see the meadow color tie, he ignored me so my fiance repeated it and he turned and snapped at him saying " that's what I'm doing". When we asked for another associate it took till we were walking out to be acknowledged. This is supposed to be a top level location for this type of thing and It could not have been more opposite. Ive been to many locations and could not believe this associate was even allowed to work there with a lack of customer support or personality. I would think this store would want to make sales and commission. If I could give 0 stars I would, shame on them for hiring him, the reputation for customer service and high quality experience could not have been...
Read moreLess than impressed with the help. When I go into a men's store, I expect professionalism at its finest....especially from a store that charges upwards of and over a thousand dollars for a suit. There was an older male who helped me. He was nice and pleasing to work with. There was a lady of color who was pleasant and a joy to be around. And then there were two. A younger man and lady. Upon check out, I noticed what appeared to be stretched material on the lower leg area. The lady told the guy to go press them to see if that would take care of it. After about 5-10 min, he came out and said he did not know how to operate the press...ok, good for letting her know. The customer ahead of me just spent over $800 and all the employees are worried about is going home???? The guy asked if I wanted my slacks bagged....well yes, that might help.... He then proceeds to wad them up and put them in the bag. I said, please do not wad them. I ended up folding my shirt and slacks. As I was looking, I was told the seamstress is on a three week vaca and all clothes are shipped to GA. With this level of competence, or lack thereof, I can't imagine too many repeat customers. Btw, I have several suits from JaB and have never experienced this...
