Owner was quite rude. Made derogatory comments about other stores prices (that I had shopped at and was holding a bag from) and that the store next door would kick us out for carrying ice cream (clearly meaning that she didn’t want us carrying ice cream in her store even tho she’s right next door to a gelato shop). She told my niece (who has body dysmorphia) that a dress wouldn’t fit and she shouldn’t try it on because she might rip it and told her to try on a different dress instead because it would “hide her stomach.” When I made a comment that the dresses weren’t very size inclusive (the largest size she had was a large which didn’t even fit me who is an 8/10) she literally chased me to the door trying to argue with me, and said as I walked out that the other store I shopped at wasn’t size inclusive either (even tho I clearly found items there that fit). Overall not a size friendly or size inclusive store. Will not be going back.
Edit: Because the owner decided to respond with lies and half truths rather than an apology (as would have been more appropriate) I just want to clear a few things up: We are not “young girls”, I am 38, my sister is 42, and my niece (not my “friend”) is 24, so to imply that we were young irresponsible girls is simply false. The All Chocolate Kitchen, which sells gelato, is literally less than .1 miles away or a 3 minute walk according to google maps. If you don’t want to have customers come into your shop with purchases from other stores then don’t own a shop surrounded ice cream stores (I’m pretty sure there’s one on the other side of the street too). Or post a sign that says “No Food or Drink Please.” My gelato was almost empty by the time I picked up the 4 items that I tried on, and was never at risk of spilling, and clearly nothing did spill on her precious clothes or she would have shouted that out first thing. But it’s telling that she prioritizes her clothes over her customers. All of her clothes were in the same condition when we left, clearly nothing was torn, or she would have again made sure to mention that. The clothes aren’t even close to size inclusive if the largest size doesn’t even fit an 8/10 which is a standard M/L. For reference my measurements are 39 Bust, 30 Waist, and 42 Hips, so I am a pretty average size and hardly a plus size. She doesn’t even deny that she literally tried to chase me out of the shop yelling things at me when I dared to criticize her shop! Her prices did not seem any better than most of the other stores in that area (a fact she proved when she pointed out the one dress was $80). I sure didn’t spend $80 on any of the items I bought from the store down the street she was criticizing. One thing I didn’t mention is that she also followed us around the entire time we were in her shop and wouldn’t let us shop in peace. And before she implies that we were doing anything shady that would have warranted being stalked, I will share that my profession is as an Assistant States Attorney for the last 12 years, and my sister is a pharmacist, so we are not “young girls” who look like we would engage in any sort of...

I can’t say enough good things about this boutique! From the moment I walked in, the owner greeted me with such warmth and genuine kindness — it immediately felt like more than just a shopping trip. I came in looking for a dress to wear to a wedding, and she went above and beyond to help me find the perfect one. Her eye for style, attention to detail, and supportive guidance made the experience feel personal and effortless.
What truly touched my heart, though, was how she helped my husband surprise me with a stunning necklace. She coordinated everything quietly and beautifully, and when he presented it to me in the shop, I was completely speechless. It was one of those rare, joy-filled moments I’ll never forget.
The boutique is gorgeous, well-curated, and filled with pieces that feel both special and wearable. But it’s the owner’s heart and care that make this place truly stand out.
Highly, highly recommend — especially if you’re looking for something meaningful...
Read moreWe were just talking about finding a retailer open at night on 3rd St in Geneva when we found Flourish. My wife went in just before 9 pm and met Kathryn who is a wonderful person, and also found a bracelet she really liked. This is a women's store, so they have placed a comfortable "man's chair" right in front of the counter so you can rest while the shopping commences. There appears to be a lot of nice women's clothing and accessories to buy here. Easy to find,...
