I love Aldi's and I accidentally forgot my blanket. For my trip down to Round Rock Texas. It Aldi's had a nice blanket for $14.99 and 2 pack Nice comfortable leggings for $9.99. Warmed me up fast. Note to the modest women when buying leggings. "Make sure to buy one or two sizes larger". (I wear a medium size. So I got a large.) Now the tight material one size fits All 😆 I do the extra large ones esp . I use that as a rule of thumb on all my outer clothes... I like layering. I don't worry about the styles I get a large or extra large top. The length covers the leggings and I can feel warm yet not risque. ) I am 64 1/2 I haven't worn trends since LHS77. I really like wearing Fluffy Sweaters or nice Sweatshirts. They're great for 3 seasons. I layer and take off a layer prn ... I changed outfitsI refreshed myself with clean clothes on for day 2. of The Bible Conference with Kevin and Kathy Zadai 'Warrior Notes SPIRIT School' This time was the start of Prayer School. So Grateful 💟 'Stay in the WORD' Aloud 'Pray the WORD' Aloud 'Stay the Course' WORD prayers we've done since Single 40+ years Confirmed again with Beth Moore book (when My3Sons were young.) .
We learnt modesty dressing esp in the cold when camping with our survival skills on Girl Scout camping trips. (Mint Cookies were $0.50 a box. Peanut butter cookies and shortbreads all $0.50 We went door to door with one of my parent's as chaperone on the sidewalks )
Anyway all Aldi's have always treated me nice. I figure give them KINDNESS (you have no idea what is going on in their lives. I also like to tip them there when I can... it's a #WWJD thing Do what JESUS would do . In fact I am going to start getting a gift card to give out when they aren't allowed tips. I have also been know to drop money and suggest they found it. Not a tip found money. By the way Thank You Aldi's for allowing a tip to the cashier. (I never tip without letting someone else know. I usually tip the Mgr too so the cashier gets to keep a dollar 💵 or 2.) i.e. FRUIT of the SPIRIT Gal 5 KINDNESS try it you'll like it. I really like Their fruits and veggies are delicious. I really like their Pizzas too. My monthly splurge (my old Aldi's was precinct line Before Harwood. 😔 I no longer live in Hurst. It's still my favorite layout though

I tend to be in chilly areas ....
Read moreI have been to several Aldi's but this was my 1st experience in Georgetown. The store was clean and stocked well. It was rather busy but the line moved quickly. I have read several complaints about paying to use the carts, yes you pay for your cart at the cost of a quarter however upon returning it you retrieve your quarter back. This is to keep costs down so no one is having to retrieve carts. Same for checkout you can purchase bags or bring your own. I always have extra. A nice lady gave me a bag because she had too many. This is how Aldi is able to provide a generous cut in their prices. The products for the most part are comparable if not better. Name brands are also available for purchase example chocolate Hershey kisses. So far the mac and cheese was the only thing that didn't measure up; in comparison it was creamy but the flavor was missing something not sure what. I love that Aldi's doesn't add all the colors and dyes to the food products. I spent only $70+ which was considerably less than my norm. The amount of time was less as well. Granted I wasn't able to purchase everything I needed but did get the bulk of my needs at a lower cost....
Read moreI have been a customer at this store since they opened it .Store is nice and clean with uncommon products and fresh grocery fairly priced are the reasons for me to visit here . Most of the Staff is friendly and helpful except for one older Caucasian lady with dark black eye liner who works at the counter keeps frowning at me each time I come there for no reason .I try to avoid her most of the time and mingle with the rest of the staff as I like the products here .This lady was also very ignorant and rude to me few times before too .I feel she is a racist and some one should point out her weakness's as at this stage in life she should focus on mental peace of here not hatred towards others . If she has personal problems she should leave them at home or get help but not to take it on customers .Also one of the male cashiers too have an attitude and acts like customers are a bother to him . When I asked him for a cardboard box he rudely he said none is available . Curbside is kind of messed up too .They gave me a wrong order once and took time to deliver my request too the first...
