Teapioca Lounge — Restaurant in Georgetown

I don't understand the negative reviews. All I've ever gotten from this shop and its employees are good milk teas & smoothies, and good service. If something was wrong with an order, they've always made it right for me. And, come on, guys, if you have money to buy 10 sugary beverages that most of y'all's obese bodies don't really need, I'm sure you have at least 50 cents or $1 to show them you care and possibly invest in great service for future orders. Only people who have worked in the service industry understand this. For those who view this place negatively, go somewhere else, and let those with happier dispositions and good vibes be their patrons. Very unprofessional. My aunt came in to buy like 10drinks for Togo. And a Vietnamese guy was there , just threw the drinks on the tables without any bags or boxes for my aunt to carry the drinks out. Then he came out to ask if my aunt is Vietnamese. And he started speaking Vietnamese to her, asking why she didn’t tip…

Since when it is ok to ask a customer that ? Especially when they’re doing Togo and don’t have a low wages like waitresses. I have work in restaurants and nails industry before, we do know tips are greatly appreciated but not a requirement unless it got stated otherwise.

I hope the manager or owner get to talk to that guy and let him know it’s not right to do what he did.

A quaint, cozy yet modern little store you just may find tucked away behind the many shops in front of it. I am exceptionally glad I saw this place, because it truly has made my life just a touch happier. From the moment you walk into the store, this 'bubbly' (pun intended) and energentic place will entice you with mouthwatering images depicting the heavenly glory that is Bubble tea. From first sip to last pearl, every flavor leaves you wanting more and more.
