Excellent expert service at a very reasonable price! Initially I took in three watches for batteries and it was discovered that on one the battery had corroded a part inside the watch. Not only did they change the battery and get it working, they also found a new part and replaced the corroded one at no additional cost to me. And also got one that initally would not function fixed as well! Service was so above and beyond expectation that I took two more pieces to Sky and Co for repair within a couple of days and they exceeded expectation once again! One piece was a ring for a single marcasite that was missing and the other an antique pendant that had lost a tiny foil backed rhinestone. Both were expertly repaired and polished and look perfect now! This will be my go to jewelry and watch store...

Best watch repair in Georgetown! And the people there are all super-nice. After driving through downtown, hitting other shops that said they did "watch repair" (i.e., battery replacement and watch straps), we found this small shop in the La Plaza Market and it was the hidden gem others have mentioned. The owner is truly an old-time craftsman in a younger man's body. He worked on a family heirloom railroad (pocket) watch of ours that no one else would touch. From others I talked to in the shop, I understand his prices for buying gold are very good (I will be taking some back), and I imagine the shop can replace batteries as well as the rest, probably at better prices. Best service I have ever received at a jewelry store. We brought in my husband and I's wedding rings to be sized and a gold band to use as extra gold. All three rings were very sentimental and I was worried about handing them over to a stranger. The repairman communicated frequently with me throughout the repair process and the rings were ready in just a few days. My husband has expressed that his ring didn't feel comfortable because it had a channel cut in the back. When he sized the ring he filled the channel to make the ring more comfortable, he did the same with my ring and it feels 1000x better. You can't even see where the change was made or a change in metals. I won't hesitate to bring my other jewelry here for repairs...
