Ordered: -Spring Roll w/Grilled Pork -Fried Pork Dumplings -Vietnamese Chicken Wings -Pho Filet Mignon -Pho Special Combination -Vegetarian Spring Rolls -Miso Soup ---Quite a bit of food---

Let me first preface this review by saying that I've eaten at this establishment at least 20 times before (sometimes twice in the same week) and have never had a bad experience. But last night's experience - at least in regards to the food - was not what I've become accustomed to with this restaurant. What's worse is that I've bragged about this place to my family and brought my mother for the first time... and we were disappointed. The first thing that came out was the fried dumplings and the spring rolls. The dumplings were over fried. Their consistency was like an over fried empanada rather than the light crispy goyoza/yakimandu dumplings. Maybe they changed brands. The bed of lettuce that the dumplings were on also looked like the lettuce had been sitting out a while and started to turn brown. The Vietnamese chicken wings were similarly overfried and sitting on browning lettuce.

I'm not trying to be picky here but spring rolls usually have about an even spread of vegetables, noodles, and meat. Not all places use all the same vegetables but it's usually pretty evenly spread. Tonight, there were noodles, a sprig of cilantro - or something green, and some meat. It was mostly noodles and not worth the money.

The Pho - which is usually served pretty hot and in a decent proportion, was just barely steaming and it was like 1.5in from the top of the bowl - which these bowls are already smaller than almost every other Vietnamese restaurant which generally offer a large and small size. I generally don't complain because my bowl is usually filled closer to within an inch of the top. The other thing I noticed that was different today was the vegetables. Again, they were browning and generally looked like they had been sitting out quite a while.

My mom did not complain about her miso soup.

Overall, I'm giving 3 stars because maybe the owners were on holiday or maybe it was the end of the night or something and usually when I come in for lunch, my meal is hot and on point. It was just both literally and figuratively night and day from what I've come to expect from PhoMPH which I know is a higher standard.

I'll be back and I'm hoping it's not more of the same. Georgetown needs to keep a wide variety of restaurants besides the standard fast food and with the growth, there's potential for this place to...

I recently had the opportunity to try this restaurant for the first time, as I am new to the area and was in the mood for pho. A good family friend suggested it. I ordered the pho, but unfortunately, the noodles were not cooked properly and remained quite hard. Additionally, the broth lacked both flavor and color, and the steak was tough. I attempted to enjoy the dish, but it did not meet my expectations. I asked the server if I could have my dish replaced. He immediately raised his voice and stated that there would be no refunds, emphasizing that once a dish is touched, it is considered final. I explained that I did not want a refund, but rather that I found the pho unappealing due to the hard noodles. He responded that there was nothing wrong with the dish and implied that the issue was with my tastes. I then requested a pad thai as an alternative, to which he agreed and walked away.He then brought a to-go container of pho, but my husband clarified that she does not like pho and will not accept it. The individual appeared confused, so my husband reiterated that they were swapping it for pad Thai. At this point, he became upset and yelled, "No refunds." My husband clarified again that my wife does not like pho. The server then walked away mid-sentence but returned to inform us that the pad Thai was waiting on the counter and instructed us to get up and take it. I felt compelled to get up quickly, as I felt quite uncomfortable, especially since I had my five-year-old with me.During the payment process, the server charged us for both the pho and the pad Thai. My husband reiterated that I did not enjoy the pho and only ordered the pad Thai because we were informed that no refunds were available. The server then aggressively threw the bag of pad Thai across the table and pointed at the pho, loudly insisting that I had finished it. I felt unsafe in this situation, particularly with my family present, so I c reminded the server that I had not finished the pho and that there was still soup remaining. I requested that he refrain from behaving in that manner. Ultimately, I chose to leave the store and allowed my husband to address the issue. I noticed that the server then took a picture...

Whomever the lady is in the front is absolutely RUDE! My friends and I frequently go here and are treated well. I've never seen this woman and she's so rude. I advised her I had a stomach procedure so and the Dr even provided a card to make smaller portions, she refused. I even told her I'd pay the full price. I accidentally pointed to the teriyaki chicken, but she was SO RUDE AND LOUD trying to make a point that she didn't hear me tell her FIVE times that I'm allergic to onions and it was my mistake I needed the Seasame chicken. She would not come up for air to save her life. I got home and low and behold teriyaki chicken that could kill me bc of my allergies to it. I called her and was not rude AT ALL. She just started to tell and say well we will refund you my manager will and guaranteed I don't get a refund. I just wanted my correct order and offered to pay the difference, but no the woman PeePee advised me that they would not be making my order for me again they weren't serving me. Not realizing how much business I bring to them! Not only do I work for the state, but also the city. She refused to give me corporates number. Which I'll find it! Then she hung up on me. I called back and now my number is blocked all because she didn't LISTEN to her customer after I told hey I didn't mean to pick the teriyaki chicken it would kill me, I meant to point to the Seasame. You guys please don't go here if they are going to treat their customers this way. I was not rude. I was very kind and tried to explain to her, but she took it into her own hands. To block your customer who is willing to pay the difference is diabolical. Especially after a long shift at the hospital. I absolutely don't deserve this and a single mom. I'm exhausted and just wanted to enjoy good food. Never again will they get my service, and my friends will no longer go to that location either....

We went for the first time last weekend, and it will not be the last time! Pho MPH are new to Georgetown. They are still figuring things out. We went on Sunday and there was a wait, then several other workers showed up. We met the owner and greeted them to Georgetown. We have a best friend from Vietnam who has a food business and since I tasted her Pho, I haven't eaten it at a restaurant (ok, maybe a few). So Pho is not usually the first thing we try. It took 15 minute to get drinks and menus, then another 10 to give our order. The food did come out quick enough. My son and I had chicken bun. The chicken is grilled and in a sauce. It was perfect. The bun had all of the usual ingredients including rise noodles, carrots, cilantro, etc. The lady had a tofu and noodle dish with a side of rice. It was spicy enough and delicious. Our plates were clean. The portions were a bit smaller that is typically served in the Georgetown / Round Rock area. Nevertheless, the people were pleasant, the food was yummy and they are close by. PhoMPH ! Update: Ate again Sept 21, 2022. Great food. Great service. Saw good friends. Upgraded rating from 4 to 5.

I’ve had chicken pho at plenty of Vietnamese restaurants over the years, but nothing comes close to the bowl I had at PHO MPH in Georgetown. The broth was incredibly flavorful—clean, rich, and deeply comforting without being heavy or salty. Every spoonful had layers of flavor that made it clear this wasn’t rushed or thrown together. It tasted like something someone spent real time perfecting. The chicken was tender and plentiful, and the herbs and toppings were fresh and thoughtfully portioned. I genuinely wasn’t expecting to be this blown away, especially since I’ve tried a lot of pho from places that get rave reviews. This one topped them all. The restaurant itself is cozy and clean, and the service was friendly without being overbearing. You can tell this place takes pride in what they serve. If you love pho—or even if you’ve only had it once or twice—do yourself a favor and try the chicken pho here. I don’t say this lightly: it’s the best I’ve had, by far.
