Georgetown Rock Shop — Local services in Georgetown

Not great, not bad.. just was not at all what I was expecting. It probably isn't the kind of store you are looking for if you are a gemstone collector or jewelry maker. There is not much of a selection/variety here, and not much inventory in the store. There are stones carved into animals and hearts and stuff, some tumbled stones.. mostly trinket kinds of gemstones you'd expect to see at a kids section in a Nature & Science museum or something.. typical "tourist trap" kind of merchandise.. fitting for the location I suppose though. They do have some pre-made jewelry, some hemp bags, incense, and a few other random items as well. I would say it is a nice stop for a kiddo...

The Georgetown Rock Shop is amazing! It is clean, organized and very reasonably priced. The service is always good and they have been very on top of their Covid 19 protocols to keep staff and customers safe. Don't let reviews by people who cannot even use their real names to disparage a small business fool you, Tasha is a gem ( rock shop pun intended :) and she does a great job managing this operation! We are always happy to support this local, well run shop that is truly an iconic part...

The family who runs it is very nice. The prices are reasonable. The selection is huge! Rocks are something you don't want to buy over the internet. Seeing with your own eyes, touching the rocks shows you the quality. It is great place to checkout even if you aren't into rocks. Bring a little money with you. Chances are you will find...
