Hamill House Museum — Attraction in Georgetown

This place has the most special place in my heart. We got married here on 09.17.2022 and it was pure perfection. I'm still dreaming about it! The Hamill House team,Nancy and Eva, are nothing short of fairy godmothers who were so great to work with. I cannot give enough praise for all their love, support and efforts to making our big day magical. Suffice to they, we would have been lost without them! We were engaged for 2 years and visited here multiple times during the prep and it has always been a joy and absolutely breathtaking. A most beautiful setting for a family wedding. After a year and a half of pandemic separation, the Hamill House and its grounds were the perfect venue for bringing together our families to celebrate the newlyweds. Andersen Park was precious for the ceremony site! I can not give enough positive accolades for how well Janine Weeds and her team cared for each and every detail and helped us pull off a memorable event! Tour guide was fantastic and interesting. He was kind, knowledgeable, and you could tell he enjoyed spreading the history of this family and home. The house itself was beautifully (mostly) restored and well kept. Its currently under going some restoration on the building to repair damages but you're still able to view and walk through most everything.
