This was just a super cool litrlw playground park eight in the middle of the town. Amazing little hidden gem of a town hidden in the mountains. Tiny. Population of 1000 I was told. So cool because a ton of the buildings and houses have plaques on the front of them showing how old they are. The oldest one I saw was 1848. Forget living here though unless u are fabulously rich because the prices to live here are astronomical. Small houses are going for the prices of mansions where i live an he ans a half away. Super cool town though and from what I hear they have an old tymey christmas festival that legit makes u feel like u traveled back in time and stepped into a whole different era . First 2 weekends of Dec. Free to go. Ton's of vendors, merchants, horse drawn buggy rides, and chestnuts roasting on an open fire ...jack frost nipping at your nose.....lol. might have to go check it out myself this year. Lovely little mountain village. Super cool to see the history of it . Worth the trip (1.5 hrs from Colorado Springs)☺ and all the locals I spoke to seemed so friendly and genuine as well. I'm sure everyone knows every ones business but u know small town Drama just is included in the...

Read moreThis park is phenomenal. Some of the best equipment and things for kids to climb and play in and around. There's a section for kids 2-5 and one for kids 5-12. It's a very large play area with even a puppet show theatre. Beautiful scenary as it is Georgetown! Only complaint is that some of the rings, monkey bars, etc have the rubber tracking underneath them missing, making it harder for kids to land comfortably. Hoping they fix this but it looked like they'd been broken for a while so I'd guess they're...
