Pricing is ridiculous honestly....but the have a small "sale" corner that is OK to look at. The pricing is more like shopping at a discount furniture store and THAT is being generous. In fact I fell in love with an item that turned out to have various things inside of it. When I brought this to the clerks attention during checkout (it was a Rolex and a russian military watch) she grabbed the stuff and never said wow thank you. She just grabbed it. If I was a jerk I would have just picketed it and left, I felt it was rude but you couoke that with the prices for stuff that has been used well you be the judge. I get you gotta make a profit but it's still USED. Goodwill is next door...you may have better luck there and frankly I have a suspision that Goodwill is where items go if they don't sell at this place. The store is neat and organized, that I will give them. Georgetown is VERY expensive, I just really thought I could buy things there reasonably priced. ..I was very wrong...felt a bit like the owners of the store and the consigners may be a bit greedy here. This is an exceptional consignment store with exceptional prices. It’s one of those stores that you didn’t know you wanted something until you walked in the store! The items they have are quality and they are priced well. They have a system where they discount items after a period of time, and reduce the prices based on the color of the sticker. There are some bargains to be had here! We got $700 vases for $200. We also got a China hut here that I would’ve paid $1000 for for $150, it was 75% off with a sticker. I bought some willow tree figurines that are between $50-$250 each and the store and I got them for $15 each. I bought a beautiful Santa music box that is vintage and going for $40 on the secondary market and I got it for $1.65. The employees here are so very nice. I was shopping for some nice discounted furniture that was in good condition, so I stopped by to see if there were any kind that I could afford and there were a living room set that would have been perfect for my space. Although it was too much out of my current budget. I was able to find a couple of other items that I needed while visiting this consignment store. But I would like to point out that between the owner's policy and the contract for the consumer, who owned the items are too expensive. Although the prices are discounted afterward because the consignment owner can sell them.. Even though I have been waiting to go back for a second time. Because there's a lot of nice things to ponder over there, just like window shopping...
