Update May 2021: Breakfast eggs are back to being fabulous- not over cooked, browned or dried out! So so happy about this that we've eaten breakfast there several times this week already. THANK YOU for correcting the eggs- I've changed back to the 4 stars.

Update April 2021: This place has been a fam fav for YEARS (over a decade). I have so many great memories of early morning breakfasts with the kiddos before school, amazing lunches with special ppl and more. Today I down grade them to 3 stars. I was really hoping not to!!

First: They must have a new chef....the eggs in the breakfast tacos are dry, crumbly and browned. First time was whoa..this is terrible. Went back 2 days later and stressed please please soft scramble the eggs in our tacos..nope...same dry really inedible eggs. Gave them 2 more tries and still the same. So so so!!! Disappointing as we've been eating breakfast there for years! (no such disappointments at San pedro limons for breakfast lately!)

I was going to let it go and not revise my review until tonight I decided I would order dinner take out. We ordered a full order of quesadillas and a taco salad. Between the 3 of us eating, if we had gone to restaurant, we would have had the awesome chips with 2 kinds of salsas with our dinner orders ...and..we all would have been full and sassy happy. Of course I stressed we needed PLENTY of green salsa to go with our order (secret best thing at this place). Upon pick up we had maybe a combined 2 oz of green salsa (1 oz in 2 containers). I asked where is the red salsa and chips? I was informed I have to purchase 4 dinner meals to get a small bag of chips and more than 2 oz of salsa! What!?!?! Really!?!? I was already spending full dinner price and being told I could not have the simple things I've always loved about Mariachis: chips and plenty of salsa.

Other than nostalgia, I think they have lost my long time - long standing- strong lauding business, much to my chagrin.

I have no idea what's going on there, but it is NOT the Mariachi's restaurant my family fell in love with over a decade ago. The quality has greatly diminished and the bang for your buck has definitely lost its allure.

Good food Good service Great prices .....green salsa is the key to their food....you must ask for it...they will not just serve it....even when you ask for it you sometimes have to ask a second or third time dont give up...ask for it as much as you have to..it is the secret to theor food being amazing....even if they are stingy with it......

Changing my star rating to 4 because husband went in today with out me...made my to go order for me..stressed several times green sauce to go please. ...only for them to have filled my bag with...

If ZERO ☆'s was available I'd give that, just left this "Mexican Restaurant" traveling through from hours on the road decided to stop in.

First off went to use the Ladies restroom and there was NO TOILETPAPER available... which left me with NO CHOICE but to use the rough brown hand paper towels. I proceeded to the front counter to inform my waitress so the next person wouldn't have to deal with the same thing and she gave a look as if to say "Ugh yeah okay whatever"

Food Service was DISGUSTING ordered a Fajita Dinner Plate at the cost of $12.99 and 1 Fajita Bistec Taco at $2.99 the Fajita Dinner plate had spoiled beans, the fajitas and rice were COLD and the Fajita Bistec Taco was ALSO COLD along with the tortilla.

Asked to speak to manager he was "too busy" so went to cashier counter, he asked "what was wrong with the food?" informed him AS stated ABOVE... instead of him EATING the cost and APOLOGIZING HIMSELF he handed the task to the cashier and she Apologized. I still paid for 2 Sweet Teas totaling $6.00 for 2 small glasses. A GOOD manager would have handled things differently.

*Note to Management~ Please DO NOT APOLOGIZE to Me for the "Inconvenience and Service" or tell me that you're "Going to fix the problem" per previous one ☆ Reviews which YOU'VE BEEN INFORMED about for the SAME ISSUES like (Ruben A. Del Bosque) who had food poisoning, which YOU MANAGEMENT stated you were working on correcting, which has NOT BEEN RECTIFIED. That was 2 months, up to a year ago and yet here I am going through the same damn thing. This isn't about a "Awe poor customer DIDN'T get to eat" Restaurants and Staff DO NOT take into consideration that there are some customers who are Diabetic and MUST EAT to NOT have their sugar drop. Or some customers are on medication that REQUIRES them to take their pills with food. No one knows what one is going through, it's NOT just about EATING, so next time try to have some empathy, compassion and treat others as YOU'D want to be treated.

**Note for those who have NEVER had Mexican Food and wish to taste REAL AUTHENTIC MEXICAN STYLE FOOD PLEASE DO NOT confuse it with this establishments menu. The Food here IS by NO MEANS REAL Authentic Mexican Food but since many DO NOT KNOW what it should REALLY taste like, you THINK it's Real Authentic Mexican Food and it's NOT. The ONLY thing that gives me Satisfaction is knowing that I was ONLY passing through and I WILL NEVER have to come here again. But I do Feel Sorry for the local Residents and those traveling through who will continue to endure Bad Food and Customer Service.

P.S. Clearly if NO ONE has taken the proper measures of IMPROVING the Service and Quality of the Food then maybe it's time to...

My coworkers and I have been coming here after the overnight shift for almost a year. I have always had a great experience. On 10/17 we were directed to the bar side which was unusual. We had to wait 30 mins to order and had to call the waitress over from the food she was eating behind the bar. The service was not good. There were 3 of us we each had 2 tacos and 2 margaritas plus 2 to go tacos. The server who delivered terrible service added a gratuity to our bill which is for large parties not tables of 3. We have spent ALOT of money in there and never been charged gratuity. She said she was allowed to tack on basically a 20 tip because the manager allows them to. Supposedly our bill was over 100 but it wasn't. They wouldn't let us speak to a supervisor or have a phone number and time where one would be available. The cashier only agreed to take off the gratuity if we were going to tip. They wouldn't give us anyone's name or our receipts. They literally pick up the phone and hang up when I call and still won't let me speak to a supervisor. The cashier just says she is in charge even though she said she was not the manager the day we were there. You can't force customers to tip for terrible service. Our regular server loves us and before this incident we had wonderful experiences at...

I’m not one to write bad reviews usually, but this experience was not good. I was disappointed with how they treated me when I called for correction. I was hoping to support a local business and get a yummy dinner. I guess I did one out of two... I have never gotten fajitas without tortillas before, but we did tonight. And my daughters ‘chicken and cheese enchiladas’ was one chicken and one filled with ground beef... The salsa was so spicy, it burned our mouths. The queso was not sealed and so the bottom of the bag was coated in cheese, soaking through the paper bags and making a mess in my car. The “Mexican rice” had sweet peas and carrots in it. I was hung up on three times when I called back to ask for tortillas (hung up on after I said we were shorted tortillas) and then the best they would do was offer to have some tortillas for me tomorrow (for the fajitas we were trying to eat today). We enjoyed the queso that was left and the guacamole was good. The chips were good (even though I didn’t intend to buy two huge bags). Overall, for the money, I would have liked for them to have gotten our order right or offer to redo the order for us, not just the missing tortillas a day late.
