Williamsburg Village Center — Local services in Georgetown

Great location. Once was a great neighborhood Shopping Center, has sadly become one that is a nightmare to go to. Apparently they did not think or consider the increase in traffic and visitors in the parking lot when they rent it out to the Social Security Administration office. Parking is horrendous and you can no longer Park in front of the establishment that you intended to go to due to the lack of parking. Perhaps the Social Security office should do like many of the local County offices and build off site on their own land with their own oversized parking lots for the people who will be using their office rather than locate in areas with very limited parking as their previous office and taking parking away from retail and other establishments in an established "retail" Shopping Center. And Limited and oddly located...

Unfortunately this was a very difficult afternoon. I needed to visit the social security office for some very simple forms that took about 10 minutes or less to print out. I sat in this office for over 3 and 1/2 hours because the social security office can't afford to hire the staff to run it efficiently. I mostly am said for the staff as they work hard and are overworked for the same reasons. Nice little shopping area in Georgetown. I surely just got to the goodwill there. I meant to take more pics of the shopping area but some impatient sack of sh.... potatoes.... was following me to my parking spot. Like really? All the parking space here and you have to have mine? There is plenty of parking space here. Other than that, it is a nice place to come shop. Except in the social security...
