UPDATE: So Men's Warehouse made a public show of responding and asking that I contact them directly to discuss. I reached out to them but they never responded back, guess it was just for show.
Original post: What happened to Men’s Warehouse. It has been years since I have bought anything from there, bought I have bought many suits and custom shirts from other places. My son’s friend died and he needed a suit quickly. He called and they said over the phone they could get him into something for around $150. He is 19 and has never bought a suit so asked me to go with him. First impression the salesperson “helping” us was dressed like she was going to a BBQ, not the image of a fine clothing shop. Next they had nothing close to the $150 they stated over the phone. He needed to suit the next day so we pushed on. In the middle of the process the salesperson took a personal call and chatted for like 5 minutes while we stood around. They agreed to have them pants hemmed for the next morning, the one decent part of the experience. After I paid for the suit I was making sure of the pickup time and that they steam everything and the salesperson essentially pushed me out the door, very curt response and then turned and walked away. Read moreI had a situation where the order was originally placed online by a family member who lived out of the area but needed a vest in a certain size and he tracked it down to this location. My job was to just pick it up and deliver it. I live on the west side of town and as you know Gilbert is about an hour away. As it turns out, the clerk couldn't find the order and so she did find the size needed so I purchased it and went on my way. When I delivered it, I was told that there were other items in the order and that it had been paid for. Fast forward almost 2 weeks later, my cousin tried to get a refund but was unable to. I called the Gilbert store and spoke to Kurt the manager and over the phone he was able to give a refund to my cousin and give me a price adjustment on what I had paid because I was charged a higher price than what my cousin had paid. I did pay what the price tag said, but my cousin had gotten a discounted rate. I was so pleased with the service I received trying to get everything corrected. Kurt went above and beyond and saved me from actually having to drive over there. Many thanks to you Kurt. This is what customer service...
Read moreBad, Bad, Bad experience today. We arrive there like 2:30pm, its our first time to visit and we don't know where to go, so we were looking first at the coats and jackets. Then we saw a sign up for tuxedo rental, so I put my son's name on it, and waited, the bald man with eyeglasses and the girl were busy with the two customers, so we waited...and waited...and waited. Another family arrived and they sign up for tuxedo rental. I went at the back for few minutes, ( in the jacket area just few steps from them ), to check on my toddler and my phone. When we came back, the bald man is already taking care of the family that just arrive. We were surprised!!! He knows that we were waiting there for like 15 or 20 minutes, we didn't even hear him calling the name of my son. What's the use of the sign up paper sheet?? I'm not sure if he's just being a RACIST, or what???, maybe because we are not white???? Before I wrote this review, I read another Asian complaining about their service and I was wondering if they Are being discriminating on us Asians??
