AFTER ACTION REPORT — OPERATION: PRECISION HAVEN Location: Unlimited Guns and Ammo, Gilbert, Arizona Time on Target: 120 minutes Personnel: Operator [REDACTED], High Value Individual (HVI), Range Staff (Ryan, Riggs, Carlos) Classification: UNRESTRICTED – FOR PUBLIC DISSEMINATION
At 1430 local time, my unit and I exfiltrated the Arizona desert sun and entered a structure that, from the outside, appeared as any other nondescript facility nestled within the quiet streets of Gilbert. But beneath that modest façade lay something far greater — a fortified enclave of precision, discipline, and hospitality. Its name: Unlimited Guns and Ammo.
The entryway opened like the blast doors of a secure FOB, and the moment I crossed the threshold, I could sense it — the hum of controlled power. The rhythmic percussion of gunfire echoed downrange like distant artillery, tempered not by chaos, but by order. This was no amateur’s playground. This was a controlled battlespace.
We approached the front counter for mission in-brief. There they were: Ryan, Riggs, and Carlos — the triad of professionalism that anchored the entire operation. I cannot recall precisely which man bore which name, for they operated as a seamless unit — indistinguishable in their competence and unwavering in their courtesy. One guided us through range protocols with the clarity of a seasoned JTAC calling in coordinates. Another ensured our paperwork was squared away faster than a well-trained rifle team clearing a malfunction. The third greeted us with a genuine smile — not the hollow customer service kind, but the kind that makes you feel like you’ve just returned from a long deployment and the brothers at the gate are glad to see you home.
They briefed us swiftly and professionally — no ego, no condescension, just clear direction and mutual respect. Safety procedures were delivered like ROE before a night raid: concise, absolute, and understood. Gear checks were executed, targets acquired, lanes secured. We were greenlit for live fire.
For the next two hours, we engaged targets with both pistol and rifle platforms. The air was cool, filtered, and steady — a stable firing environment unmarred by dust, wind, or distraction. Each controlled pair and follow-up shot echoed like a heartbeat. Brass cascaded onto the floor like golden rain, each casing a testament to discipline and focus. The lanes were clean, lighting ideal, target retrieval systems smooth and reliable — no jams, no hiccups, no downtime.
But what truly set this mission apart wasn’t just the infrastructure — it was the staff. Throughout our session, the trio maintained a constant yet unobtrusive overwatch. A quick nod here, a word of advice there, always available but never overbearing. Their demeanor struck the perfect balance between authority and camaraderie — like experienced NCOs ensuring the platoon operates at peak efficiency without stifling initiative.
When our time on station ended, they debriefed us with the same professionalism they’d shown from the start. No rushed goodbyes, no perfunctory “have a nice day.” It was genuine — as if they took personal pride in ensuring our experience wasn’t just good, but exceptional.
Summary: Unlimited Guns and Ammo isn’t just a range. It’s a well-oiled tactical sanctuary where marksmanship is respected, safety is sacred, and guests are treated not as mere customers, but as fellow warriors-in-arms. Ryan, Riggs, and Carlos operate like a synchronized fire team — efficient, disciplined, and friendly to the core.
Recommendation: For operators, civilians, and anyone in between seeking to refine their craft or simply enjoy a first-rate shooting experience, Unlimited Guns and Ammo earns my highest commendation. In the field, you remember the places that had your six. This is one of them.

Exceptional Staff & Service The staff here is second to none--Max, Orlando, Daniel, Jaris, Chris, and Rob go above and beyond to ensure every visit is safe, informative, and fun. Whether you're a first-time shooter or a seasoned competitive shooter, their advice will help you improve your technique and training. Their focus on safety and a welcoming environment makes every range session enjoyable.
Unbeatable Membership Value As a member, the benefits are simply unmatched. Unlimited range time, priority lane access (no waiting if a lane is open), discounts on products, ammo, and targets--it all adds up to a deal that leaves C2, Ted's, and Shooters World in the dust. The cost-to-benefit ratio is off the charts, and if you shoot regularly, this membership practically pays for itself.
Next-Level Lanes & Target Systems Forget basic static targets--The Continental's lanes and target systems are next-level. The advanced systems feature movement, rotation, and different challenge settings, making every training session more dynamic and engaging. The benches and overall setup are top-tier, offering a better shooting experience than most other ranges in the area.
Wick's Bar & Grill - The Best Post-Shooting Meal I would come here just to eat even if I wasn't shooting! The Sonoran dog is absolutely unreal--a bacon-wrapped masterpiece that I would kill for just like John Wick, because it's so good. The burgers? Easily among the best around. After a long range session, nothing hits better than grabbing a bite and a pint at Wick's.
Gun Cleaning Concierge - Worth Every Penny While not widely advertised, their gun cleaning service is a game changer. For a small fee, they'll thoroughly clean your firearms, saving you time and effort--especially if you shoot as much as I do. Even though I take care of my firearms, this service is worth its weight in gold because it allows me to spend more time on what matters.
Product Selection - Could use improvement The only area I wish they would improve on would be the retail side of the house. Their selection is eclectic, small, and narrow. I would happily purchase more firearms, optics, accessories, and NFA items (like suppressors) if they had them in stock. Also it would be good to get a SilencerShop Kiosk in the retail side as well for future NFA purchases. My suggestions would be small mixes of the big sellers, Sigs, S&W, Springfield, Glock for pistols and rifles, and then a very small selection of higher price point Staccato's, Wilson, Tangfolio in the pistols, and some good shotguns from Benelli . From the NFA side a few suppressors from the Big SilencerCo, Dead Air, and Surefire, maybe even a MCX Spear or an MP5. Same for optics, a decent selection from Trijicon, Holosun, Vortex would be useful too. Long story short, I make most of my firearm decisions when I am shooting, so a larger retail selection would improve their margins quite a bit.
Final Verdict: 5 Stars The Continental Gilbert Gun Club is more than just a range--it's an experience. Between the outstanding staff, top-tier range facilities, unbeatable membership perks, amazing food, and thoughtful services like gun cleaning, it's IMHO the best indoor shooting range in the state. If you're serious about shooting, this is the...
Read moreIf there was Zero star, that’s what I would give this place. The range is just 4 miles away from my house. I decided to take my brother there. He is new to gun and never fires a weapon before in his life. Needless to say, he is very nervous. I bought .22 caliber rifle. Before taking my brother to the range, I spent over 45 minutes at home, explaining a few safety tips. I’ve been a gun owner for 28 years. Safety comes first. I don’t play around when it comes to gun safety. Once we signed up all the waivers from the iPad, we then proceeded to the counter . We were very cautious. We came in with gloves, eye protections, ear buds and ear muffs. Look, I have lived in 9 different states, have had conceal carry and taken safety classes. We then went to our lane, carefully placed our targets and stated shooting. I stood right next my brother and tried to make him comfortable. Our targets holders fell off. This is not unusual . Most people take classes and go to the range so they can learn how to properly shoot and handle a fire arms . Doing it safe is extremely important. I went and asked the gentleman at the counter if he could give us another one. He started lecturing us and threatened to kick us out. He then stood right behind my brother , eyeballing everything we were doing. He then told us that one of the .22 ammo hit something. Still did not show Us what my brother hit. We should have left right away. Dude was very unprofessional and rude. As we were leaving, he then said he was sorry for eyeballing us which is nonsense “. He proceeded by charging us full amount, including for the target holder. We took all the precautions. No patrons felt threatened by us. No safety rules were violated. Standing behind someone who is just there for the first time and eyeballing us is really ridiculous. Go to Casewells or other ranges where staffs are 100 times more professional and not so rude. The staff at this place is terrible. They have no concept of customer service and how to handle certain situations. It was not a safety issues which I would understand. I will never go to this place nor take anyone with me. Go some place else. The staff really sucks..... This place...
