I had a prom event for my son's last year of high school. Prior to his event I visited Balloon Tycoon a couple of times to see what they had to offer. It was close to home and I like to support small businesses. In the recent past, I spent about $100 there on party items ( which was not a lot of things purchased for what I paid). Well, the day of my event I place an order for 30 Balloons paid $86 (way too much), but went ahead anyway. After leaving the store on my way home, the balloons started popping on there on with no fault on me. After getting the balloons out the car they still were popping on there own, even in my house just standing in mid-air on the weights. I lost about 10 balloons. On my way home when the problem first occurred I call the store, told the lady and she said "Okay, no problem just come back to the store we close at 6 and will can make you more". Foolishly, I was excited thinking she was going to replace my balloons at no cost. I call the store again prior to reaching there, to ask them to start the work to replace my balloons, when I spoke to the lady this time she said "you have to pay first there is a fee, before we can start the work". I sd your never mention that to me when I first called. Of course she sd " I never sd there will not be a fee", but she never sd there would be either. I paid $86 for only 30 balloons and I believe those balloons had bad elastic or too much air placed in them, but I know it had to be some issue for the problem to occur. I purchase many balloons in the past from the DOLLAR STORES and never had that happen. I had over 80 balloons transported in the past on several occasions and never popped one. There was no loyalty to me the customer. Especially knowing the business is over priced to me. My problem was unresolved. I went to the DOLLAR store to replace the breaking balloons. I refused to give any more money to Balloon Tycoon, if I would have purchased more of them the same thing could have happen. I don't deal with ppl not loyal to a customers...I would've never treated my customers in the matter I was; as If I am a small business owner myself. I stand behind the quality of my product..because that is what one should provide quality service....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wonāt be shopping here anymore my last experience sealed my decision a few years ago I use to purchase cake boxes until the owner changed the prices to almost double claiming that was always the price , which the week before they were half of what she was now charging. So I tried again to see if things had changed but NO it hasnāt one week I purchased cake (takeout) containers one employee sells them to me 2 for 1.00 , the next week the owner tells me theyāre 1.00 each. When I questioned she tells me OH THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN 2 for 1.00. I will NOT PURCHASE FROM THERE AGAIN . This is the SECOND TIME SHE HAS CHANGED THE PRICE. She may have gotten me twice but she wonāt again, Iāll drive a little bit farther rather that to be ripped off by her again. I love to support local but when you repeatedly rip customers off thatās not cool Iāll take my money...

They arrived over an hour early before the party to set up, I did not have to lift a finger and she took care of us. I knew that I was in good hands in choosing Balloon Tycoon. They are very professional and they put all of the work in so we did not have to. They can do anything you ask them to do and their selection is like nothing else in the area.
