39 North Taproom and Grille — Restaurant in Glenolden

So I'm not writing this to bash the place it def has potentional but we had a horrible experience last night ( as well as others sitting around us) & I just want the owner to see this so they can be aware . When we arrive a server ( who seemed to be on drugs ) takes our drink order , then about 10 mins later another girl comes to take our food order . Mind you we still didn't get drinks yet.. after this a woman who looked like maybe a manager or owner comes to ask if someone took our order ( seems like she doesn't trust her employees are doin their job correctly) so 25 mins goes by still no drinks . First server comes to ask if anyone took our drink order ( when she is the one who did) we then tell her & she just says " ohhhh ok" real rude & after 30 mins still no drinks .. the 2 drinks with alcohol come first but my friends coke did not ( which is odd) . The owner looking lady comes back & slams the coke on the table .during the VERY long wait , we watch all the employees scrambling around & it was just entertaining because no one had a clue what they were doin . The rude server who looked high was cleaning up finished drinks & was flinging the cups around & the liquids were flying all over the place . My dinner came with a salad , which came out AFTER my entree. I got crabs & spaghetti which was good minus the pieces of crab shell that was in it. My friend got "hot roast beef " which was not hot . She also had a specific conversation with the waitress about no pickles touching her plate . What do ya know ? Pickles we're all over her sandwhich lol. Her & my bfs sandwiches came with an order of fries ( looked like they each got about 5 fries total) . & all of our food came out at different times . Just a mess . The "high" server was arguing with the manager/owner lady in the hall way by the bathroom & when I went to go in neither of them got out of my way even though I said "excuse me" twice . So I had to squeeze by them to get to the bathroom. Just rude & so unprofessional. The waitress with the glasses was very nice but was definitely over whelmed . All in all for a bunch of drinks & 3 people to eat 60$ was pretty reasonable . Would I come back ? Probably not . May give them one more chance but most likely on a...

I would give 0 stars but that’s not an option. We went there last night a group of 4 of us and sat at the bar. The waitresses were very ignorant to us and would ignore us often. This was my first time there and I will not be returning. Two out of 4 of our meals where incorrect and took a very long time to get out. Last night at about 2:30 am-9 am I was vomiting uncontrollably. I got food poison from this place from their sausage scalopini dish. We then called this morning and asked to speak to a manager to inform them of my sickness and to provide insight on the food they are giving their customers. Decided to give this place a try and WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Absolutely HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Took 10 minutes to even get a menu. They got my girlfriends food completely WRONG, I asked for a medium rare burger specifically saying I wanted it pink inside and got a WELL DONE HOCKEY PUCK. Everything is OVERPRICED esp for the service and quality of food. The ONE Waitress had NO HELP. And NO MANAGER came to correct anything. I couldn't finish my burger it was so bad. AND NOTHING WAS COMPED. WE WERE STILL CHARGED FULL PRICE F0R BAD SERVICE, AND WRONG AND POORLY COOKED FOOD!!! I have worked in restaurants for decades and this place is absolutely AWFUL.
