Trading Post Pawn — Local services in Glenwood Springs

Wasted my time going there. I went to buy and sell coins. They had only a few coins which mainly were trash and all were highly overvalued. I offered them many nice and old coins, some silver and scarce. I told them in advance those were silver coins. Instead of looking for information, they put a liquid on them to make sure they were silver. One of my coins was uncirculated but now it’s not. This shows that they know nothing about numismatics but they work in a Pawn Shop. Of course what they offered for my coins showed that they didn’t know anything about it and didn’t look for any information either. Don’t waste your time going...

Low balls you, has no respect for others, and will go back on any offers he has made you. The owner of this shop will make you an offer then change his mind right after you've already agreed on the deal. He will even go so far as to tell you that he doesnt want something after he's already agreed to help you and made you an offer. Not only that he will not even give you a ball park on an offer based off of what the pricing is on his shelves. The business may look pretty but his horrendous customer service and his low ball offers are not worth the trouble of even trying to make a deal...

Showed up at 9 since that was the time listed on google and their website...hours on door said 10, clearly had been written over a 9. Waited until 10:15 but no one showed up. Called later to confirm they are still in business and told them I was there at 10 and it wasn’t open, they didn’t apologize just said they live far away and are sometimes late. That’s not my problem as a consumer, and as someone who used to be in retail i find this experience extremely unprofessional.
